Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran yang dilakukan oleh ibu dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh selama masa pandemi Covid-19 di RT 004/RW 013 Kelurahan Malaka Jaya, Duren Sawit, Jakarta Timur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif melalui teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara yang dilakukan dengan masyarakat yang memiliki anak pada jenjang pendidikan Sekolah Menengah Pertama, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka. Subjek penelitian adalah ibu ketua RT 004/RW 013 Kelurahan Malaka Jaya, Duren Sawit, Jakarta Timur serta masyarakat yang memiliki anak pada jenjang pendidikan Sekolah Menengah Pertama dan sedang mengikuti pembelajaran jarak jauh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran ibu dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh selama masa pandemi Covid-19 di RT 004/RW 013 Kelurahan Malaka Jaya, Duren Sawit, Jakarta Timur yaitu berperan sebagai (1) korektor, (2) organisator, (3) motivator, (4) fasilitator dan (5) pembimbing. Kesulitan ibu selama pembelajaran jarak jauh dari segi ekonomi yaitu (1) banyaknya pengeluaran yang dikeluarkan ibu, (2) terbatasnya fasilitas yang diberikan ibu, (3) jenis pekerjaan ibu yang beragam, sedangkan kesulitan ibu dalam memahami materi pembelajaran jarak jauh anak meliputi (1) koneksi internet buruk membuat materi yang disampaikan guru menjadi kurang mekasimal, (2) waktu yang dimiliki ibu, (3) kondisi lingkungan sekitar, (4) tingkat pendidikan ibu. ***** This study aims to determine the role played by mothers in distance learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at RT 004/RW 013, Malaka Jaya Village, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta. The research method used is a qualitative method through data collection techniques with observation, interviews with people who have children at the junior high school education level, documentation, and literature study. The research subjects were the head of RT 004/RW 013 Kelurahan Malaka Jaya, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta as well as people who have children at the junior high school level and are currently participating in distance learning. The results showed that the role of mothers in distance learning during the Covid-19 pandemic in RT 004/RW 013 Kelurahan Malaka Jaya, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta was to act as (1) corrector, (2) organizer, (3) motivator, ( 4) facilitator and (5) mentor. The mother's difficulties during distance learning from an economic point of view are (1) the amount of expenditure incurred by the mother, (2) the limited facilities provided by the mother, (3) the various types of mother's work, while the mother's difficulties in understanding children's distance learning materials include (1 ) poor internet connection makes the material delivered by the teacher less effective, (2) the mother's time, (3) the condition of the surrounding environment, (4) the mother's level of education.
