Abstract

Penelitian ini berujuan untuk: (1) Mengetahui faktor apa saja yang menyebabkan terjadinya Child Free pada pasangan milenial pasca menikah di Kecamatan Pancoran Mas Depok Jawa Barat. (2) Mengetahui langkah apa saja yang dilakukan pasangan Child Free untuk menjaga komitmennya dalam keputusannyauntuk Child Free di Kecamatan Pancoran Mas. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada masyarakat Kecamatan Pancoran Mas yang memilih keputusan Child Free pasca menikah selama bulan Mei 2022. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara studi kepustakaan dan dokumentasi sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan pengumpulan data, reduksi data dan display data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya pemilihan keputusan Child Free dikalangan pasangan milenial pasca menikah di Kecamatan Pancoran Mas terdiri atas faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Faktor internal yaitu seperti, faktor ketidaksiapan untukmemiliki anak, Faktor kesehatan, Faktor Psikologis. Sedangkan faktor eksternal yaitu Faktor ekonomi. pemilihan keputusan Child Free ini tentunya memerlukan komitmen yang kuat untuk tetap menjaga keutuhan rumah tangga walaupun tanpa kehadiran seorang anak seperti melakukan Quality Time, komunikasi yang baik. Dan juga merencanakan masa depan seperti kehidupan di hari tua agar kehidupan lebih terarah dan komitmen akan terjaga ***** This study aims to: (1) Find out what factors cause Child Free to occur in post married millennial couples in Pancoran Mas District, Depok, West Java. (2) Knowing what steps the Child Free couple has taken to maintain their commitment in their decision to Child Free in Pancoran Mas District. This research was conducted on the people of Pancoran Mas Sub-district who chose the decision of Free Children after marriage during the month of May 2022. The methodology used was a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques used, namely observation, library study interviews and documentation, while the data analysis technique used data collection, data reduction and data display. Theresults of this study indicate that the factors that led to the decision to choose a Free Child among post-married millennial couples in Pancoran Mas District consist of internal factors and external factors. Internal factors, such as factors of unpreparedness to have children, health factors, phyology factors. While external factors are economic factors. This Free Child decision certainly requires a strong commitment to maintain the integrity of the household even without the presenceof a child such as doing Quality Time, good communication. And also plan for thefuture like life in old age so that life is more focused and commitment will be maintained.
