Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi dan ilmu pengetahuan mengalami kemajuan yang sangat pesat. Peserta didik dituntut untuk menguasai berbagai macam kemampuan, salah satunya kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Kemampuan pemecahan masalah perlu dikembangkan dalam proses pembelajaran. Model pembelajaran yang dapat memfasilitasi peserta didik dalam melatih kemampuan pemecahan masalah adalah model pembelajaran Reading, Identifying, Constructing, Solving, Reviewing and Extending (RICOSRE). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran RICOSRE terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik SMA pada materi perubahan lingkungan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 3 Tangerang pada Januari-Juni 2022. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian kuasi eksperimen. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 62 peserta didik dengan masing-masing kelas berjumlah 31 peserta didik yang dipilih secara simple random sampling. Berdasarkan perhitungan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t independen pada α = 0,05 diperoleh signifikansi sebesar 0,028 yang berarti terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran RICOSRE terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik pada materi perubahan lingkungan. Students are required to master various kinds of abilities, one of which is problem solving skills. Problem solving abilities need to be developed in the learning process. The learning model that can facilitate students in practicing problem solving skills is the Reading, Identifying, Constructing, Solving, Reviewing and Extending (RICOSRE) learning model. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using the RICOSRE learning model on the problem-solving abilities of high school students on the material of environmental change materials. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 3 Tangerang in January-June 2022. This type of research is quantitative with a quasi-experimental research method. The research sample amounted to 62 students with each class totaling 31 students who were selected by random sampling. Based on the t-test calculation α = 0.05, a significance of 0.028 was obtained, which rata-ratas that there is an effect of the RICOSRE learning model on the problem-solving abilities of students on environmental change materials.
