Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi sistem zonasi sekolah terhadap daya tampung dan jangkauan pelayanan pendidikan Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri di Kecamatan Tarumajaya, Kabupaten Bekasi. Metode yang digunakan peniliti dalam penilitian ini adalah metode deskriptif analitik dengan melakukan analisis terhadap daya tampung sekolah dengan menghitung jumlah ketersediaan ruang kelas dengan kapasitas ruang kelas di setiap masing masing SMP Negeri di Kecamtan Tarumajaya untuk melakukan analisis terhadap jangkauan pelayanan SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Tarumajaya dilakukan dengan menghitung jumlah siswa, daya tampung ideal dan kapasitas maksimum satu ruang kelas. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jangkauan pelayanan pendidikan SMP Negeri 1 Tarumajaya, SMP Negeri 2 Tarumajaya dan SMP Negeri 3 Tarumajaya sudah dapat melayani kebutuhan pendidikan di Kecamatan Tarumajaya dan sekitarnya. Setelah diterapkannya PPDB jalur zonasi peserta didik yang berdomisili dekat dengan ketiga sekolah negeri di Kecamatan Tarumajaya dapat terserap lebih banyak di mana rata-rata sekolah pertama negeri di Kecamatan Tarumajaya memiliki daya tampung lebih dari 50% bagi pendaftar jalur sistem zonasi sekolah sesuai dengan Permendikbud No 20 Tahun 2019. ***** This study aims to find out how the implementation of the school zoning system on the capacity and reach of education services for State Junior High Schools in Tarumajaya District, Bekasi Regency. The method used by researchers in this research is descriptive analytical method by analyzing the school capacity by calculating the number of available classrooms with classroom capacity in each State Junior High School in Tarumajaya District to analyze the range of services of State Junior High Schools in Tarumajaya District is done by calculating the number of students, ideal capacity and maximum capacity of one classroom. The results of the study showed that the range of education services of SMP Negeri 1 Tarumajaya, SMP Negeri 2 Tarumajaya and SMP Negeri 3 Tarumajaya has been able to serve the educational needs of Tarumajaya District and its surroundings. After the implementation of ppdb zoning route, students who are domiciled close to the three public schools in Tarumajaya District can be absorbed more where the average state first school in Tarumajaya District has a capacity of more than 50% for registrants of the school zoning system in accordance with Permendikbud No. 20 of 2019.
