Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Profil coffee shop Halaman Belakang dan Sisi Kiri Bogor; (2) Strategi pengembangan yang diterapkan oleh Halaman Belakang dan Sisi Kiri terkait dalam mempertahankan bisnisnya ditengah pandemi covid-19; (3) Peran industri kuliner coffee shop dalam pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal khususnya di Kota Bogor. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kota Bogor pada bulan Mei – Juli 2022. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu para pemilik coffee shop yang sudah mendirikan gerainya sejak sebelum adanya pandemi covid-19, tempat itu diantaranya Halaman Belakang dan Sisi Kiri, Bogor. Hasil yang didapat dari penelitian ini yaitu terdapat beberapa strategi yang digunakan oleh Halaman Belakang dan Sisi Kiri dalam mempertahankan bisnisnya ditengah pandemi dan masih bertahan hingga setelah pandemi. Salah satunya, srategi memperluas pemasaran dengan promosi melalui event yang sangat memberi dampak positif terhadap kemajuan bisnis yang dijalankan oleh Halaman Belakang dan Sisi Kiri. Semakin bertambahnya coffee shop saat ini pun, memberikan dampak positif terhadap perkembangan ekonomi lokal Kota Bogor yang dimana pada saat ini coffee shop termasuk salah satu UMKM yang sedang hype dan banyak menyerap tenaga kerja di Kota Bogor. Strategi tersebut lah yang nantinya diharapkan dapat di implementasikan dan menjadi bahan pertimbangan bagi pemilik bisnis yang lainnya dalam menghadapi permasalahan perekonomian di Indonesia khususnya untuk mempertahankan usaha yang dimiliki. Kata Kunci: industri kecil, strategi pengembangan UMKM, coffee shop, sumber daya manusia, analisis SWOT. *** The research aims to determine: (1) the profile of Halaman Belakang and Sisi Kiri, Bogor; (2) the development strategy implemented by the Halaman Belakang and Sisi Kiri in maintaining their business before the covid-19 pandemic; (3) The role of the coffee shop culinary industry in local economic growth, especially in the city of Bogor. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. This research was conducted in Bogor City in May – June 2022. The subjects of this research are coffee shop owners who have established their outlets since before the COVID-19 pandemic there are Halaman Belakang and Sisi Kiri. The results obtained from this study are that there are several strategies used by Halaman Belakang and Sisi Kiri in maintaining their business in the midst of a pandemic and still surviving until after the pandemic. One of them is the strategy of expanding marketing with promotions through events that have a very positive impact on the progress of the business run by Halaman Belakang and Sisi Kiri. The increasing number of coffee shops at this time has a positive effect on the development of the local economy at Bogor City, at this time coffee shops are one of the SMEs that are currently hype and absorb a lot of the workforce in the Bogor City. I hope this strategy can be implemented and become a consideration for other business owners in dealing with economic problems in Indonesia, especially to maintain their businesses.
