Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kesiapsiagaan masyarakat berdasarkan kondisi ekonomi dalam menghadapi bencana banjir di Kelurahan Petamburan. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu keluarga yang bertempat tinggal di Kelurahan Petamburan. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara simple random sampling dan diperoleh 99 responden. Teknis analisis data yang digunakan adalah menggunakan deskriptif persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa masyarakat di Kelurahan Petamburan mempunyai kesiapsiapsigaan sebesar 60.69 yang berada pada kesiapsiagaan sedang. Masyarakat dengan tingkat ekonomi tinggi memiliki indeks kesiapsiagaan sebesar 72.05 dengan kategori sedang. Masyarakat dengan tingkat ekonomi menengah memiliki indeks kesiapsiagaan sebesar 55.33 dengan kategori rendah. Masyarakat dengan tingkat ekonomi rendah memiliki indeks kesiapsiagaan sebesar 62.13 dengan kategori sedang. Gambaran ini menunjukan bahwa tingkat ekonomi tidak berpengaruh terhadap tingkat kesiapsiagaan. Data menunjukan bahwa tidak ada pola yang jelas antara hubungan tingkat ekonomi dan kesiapsiagaan masyarakat. ***** This study aims to identify society preparedness based on their economic condition in facing the flood disaster at Petamburan Sub-District. This research used descriptive analysis method. Population in this study is family who live in Petamburan Sub-District. The sampling technique in this study used simple random sampling with 99 respondent. Descriptive percentage is used as the data analysis technique. The result of this study shows that preparedness for Petamburan Sub-District people is 60.69 on average, and at the medium stage. People with the high level of economic get 72.05 as their preparedness index, at the medium stage. People with the middle economic level get 55.33 as their preparedness index, at the low stage. Last, people with the low eceonomic level get 62.13 as their preparedness index, at the medium stage. In conclusion, the economic level didn’t have any effect on preparedness stage. The data shows there are no obvious pattern between the relation of economic level and society preparedness.
