Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya hubungan antara intensitas penggunaan media sosial youtube berkonten edukasi dengan disiplin belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode studi korelasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 3 Tangerang tahun ajaran 2021/2022 sebanyak 386 orang. Sampel penelitian diambil dengan teknik simple random sampling sebanyak 196 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data variabel X atau Intensitas Penggunaan Youtube Berkonten Edukasi dan variabel Y atau Disiplin Belajar Peserta Didik menggunakan angket melalui google formulir. Uji prasyarat analisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji linieritas. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah korelasi Product Moment Pearson. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis yang telah dilakukan diketahui bahwa terdapat hubungan antara intensitas penggunaan youtube berkonten edukasi dengan disiplin belajar peserta didik SMA Negeri 3 Tangerang tahun ajaran 2021/2022, dibuktikan dengan hasil rhitung > rtabel (0,300 > 0,140). Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini yakni terdapat hubungan antara intensitas penggunaan media sosial youtube berkonten edukasi dengan disiplin belajar peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 3 Tangerang tahun ajaran 2021/2022. ***** The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a relationship between the intensity of using social media youtube in educational content with the learning discipline of students. This research uses a quantitative approach with a correlation study method. The population is all 11th-grade students of SMA Negeri 3 Tangerang in the academic year 2021/2022 as many as 386 people. The research sample was taken by simple random sampling technique by as many as 196 people. The technique of collecting data for the X variable or the Intensity of Using Social Media Youtube Educational Content and the Y variable or The Learning Discipline of Students was using a questionnaire through google forms. The analysis prerequisite test in this study used the normality test and the linearity test. The data analysis technique used in this research is Pearson correlation or Pearson Product Moment. Based on the hypothesis test that has been carried out, it is known that there is a relationship between the intensity of using social media youtube in educational content with the learning discipline of students at SMA Negeri 3 Tangerang in the academic year 2021/2022, as evidenced by the results of rcount > rtable (0,300 > 0,140). The conclusion from the results of this study is that there is a relationship between the intensity using social media youtube in educational content with the learning discipline of 11th-grade students at SMA Negeri 3 Tangerang in the academic year 2021/2022.
