Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana Mahasiswa di Serikat Legionnaire Alliance dapat memanfaatkan Toram Online sebagai sumber pendapatan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama satu semester yaitu pada bulan Februari hingga Agustus 2022. Metode yang digunakan adalah Deskriptif Kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Metode yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data adalah mereduksi data, penyajian, penyimpulan, dan verifikasi. Subjek Penelitian ini yaitu anggota Legionnaire Alliance yang sedang menempuh pendidikan di perguruan tinggi yang terlibat dalam kegiatan yang dapat menjadikan Toram Online sebagai sumber pendapatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: 1.) Real Money Trading (RMT) merupakan cara utama mendapatkan keuntungan yaitu dengan melakukan berbagai cara untuk mendapatkan spina yang nanti akan dijual sehingga pemain mendapatkan pendapatan real. 2.) Tantangan yang dihadapi pemain dalam usaha mendapatkan pendapatan dari Toram Online adalah resiko dan pelanggaran. Resiko dari penipuan dan pelaporan berasal dari lawan transaksi RMT. Sedangkan mengenai pelanggaran, sejatinya tindakan-tindakan yang mereka lakukan melanggar perjanjian penggunaan pelayanan yang bilamana terbukti melanggar atau dianggap melanggar akan mendapatkan sanksi berupa pemutusan pelayanan dengan cara ban akun. 3.) Bentuk Sumber Pendapatan dari Toram Online yang pemain hasilkan adalah pendapatan Sementara. Pendapatan Sementara dikarenakan mereka tidak memiliki target berapa yang mereka hasilkan dalam kurun waktu tertentu. Mereka hanya menjual spina bila merasa sudah saatnya untuk menjualnya. This study aims to find out how university students in the Legionnaire Alliance can use Toram Online as a source of income. This research was conducted for one semester, from February to August 2022. The method used was descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The method used to analyze the data is data reduction, presentation, inference, and verification. The subject of this research is a member of the Legionnaire Alliance who is currently studying at a university who is involved in activities that can make Toram Online as source of income. The results of the study show that: 1.) Real Money Trading (RMT) is the main way to get profits, namely by doing various ways to get spina which will later be sold so that players get real income. 2.) The challenges faced by players in trying to earn revenue from Toram Online are risks and violations. The risk of scam and get reported comes from the RMT counterparty. As for the violation, in fact the actions they do violated the service use agreement which if proven to have been violated or was deemed to have violated it would be subject to sanctions in the form of termination of service by banning the account. 3.) The form of Income Source from Toram Online that players generate is Transitory Income. Transitory Income because they do not have a target for how much they earn in a certain period of time. They only sell spina whenever they feel it's time to sell it.
