Abstract

Miskonsepsi merupakan permasalahan yang banyak dijumpai pada pembelajaran konsep Biologi. Konsep Ekosistem, menjadi salah satu konsep Biologi yang di dalamnya banyak ditemukan miskonsepsi. Pengembangan instrumen tes diagnostik miskonsepsi terutama dalam bidang Biologi masih sedikit dilakukan. Selain itu, instrumen tes diagnostik miskonsepsi kebanyakan masih disajikan dalam bentuk paper based test. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menghasilkan produk pengembangan berupa EMD-Test yang merupakan instrumen tes diagnostik miskonsepsi dalam bentuk Three-tier multiple choice test yang disajikan dengan menggunakan platform Google Formulir yang valid dan reliabel. Pada penelitian ini digunakan metode Research and development (R&D) dengan model 4D yang terdiri atas empat tahapan yakni define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Desember 2021 hingga bulan Agustus 2022. Instrumen tes diagnostik yang dikembangkan divalidasi oleh 2 orang validator ahli dan memperoleh rerata nilai 3,27 (sangat layak). Melalui hasil validasi butir, dari 40 soal terdapat 30 butir valid dengan rerata nilai koefisien korelasi 0,67 dan 10 butir tidak valid dengan rerata nilai koefisien korelasi 0,10. Instrumen tes diagnostik juga diuji keterbacaan kepada peserta didik dan mendapatkan nilai rerata 3,41 (sangat layak) serta diuji keterbacaan kepada guru dan mendapatkan nilai rerata 3,74 (sangat layak). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa produk EMD-Test yang dikembangkan sangat valid dan reliabel untuk dapat digunakan sebagai instrumen tes diagnostik miskonsepsi pada konsep Ekosistem. ***** Misconception is a problem that is often found in learning Biology concepts. Ecosystem concept, is one of the biological concepts in which in which misconception are found a lot. The development of diagnostic test instruments for misconceptions, especially in the field of Biology, is still little done. In addition, the diagnostic test instrument for misconceptions is most often presented in the form of a paper based test. The purpose of this research is to produce a valid and reliable EMD-Test which is a diagnostic test instrument for misconceptions in the form of a Three-tier multiple choice test which is presented through Google Form platform. This development research applied the Research and development (R&D) method with a 4D development model consists of four stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. This research was conducted from December 2021 to August 2022. The developed diagnostic test instrument was validated by 2 expert validators and obtained a mean score of 3.27 (very feasible). Through the results of item validation, from 40 questions there are 30 valid items with an average correlation coefficient value of 0.67 and 10 invalid items with an average correlation coefficient value of 0.10. The diagnostic test instrument was also tested for readability to students and got an average value of 3.41 (very feasible) and was tested for readability to teachers and got an average value of 3.74 (very feasible). This shows that the developed EMD-Test product is very valid and reliable to be used as a diagnostic test instrument for misconceptions on the Ecosystem concept.
