Abstract

Proses pembelajaran di SMAN 1 Purbalingga masih menggunakan metode ceramah dan pemberian tugas saja. Penggunaan metode tersebut berdampak pada hasil belajar peserta didik di bawah rata-rata KKM yaitu 70. Untuk mendapatkan hasil belajar yang maksimal maka perlu adanya model pembelajaran yang berbasis kepada siswa seperti model pembelajaran berbasis proyek (Project Based Learning/PjBL). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu (Quasi Eksperimen) dengan desain One Grup Pretest-Post test Design. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa Kelas X/2 MIPA 5 SMA Negeri 1 Purbalingga sebanyak 36 siswa dengan menggunakan Teknik Purposive Sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Uji-t. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa model pembelajaran PjBL memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar Biologi materi daur ulang limbah siswa Kelas X/2, selain itu ditemukan siswa menjadi lebih aktif dalam pembelajaran serta meningkatnya berpikir kritis, inovatif, keterampilan kolaborasi, kemampuan kreativitas siswa, menambah tanggung jawab dan kerja sama antar siswa. Keterbatasan penelitian ini yaitu waktu untuk menyelesaikan penelitian relatif pendek, peneliti belum mengenal secara sifat dan karakter setiap siswa, masih terbatasnya pengetahuan peneliti terkait materi yang diteliti. ***** The learning process at SHS 1 Purbalingga still uses the lecture method and assignment only. The use of this method has an impact on student learning outcomes below the KKM average of 70. To get maximum learning outcomes, it is necessary to have a student-based learning model such as a project-based learning model (PjBL). The research method used is a quasi-experimental (Quasi Experiment) with One Group Pretest-Post test Design. The population and sample in this study were students of Class X/2 MIPA 5 SHS 1 Purbalingga as many as 36 students using the Purposive Sampling. The data analysis technique used is t-test. The results of this study stated that the PjBL had a significant influence on the Biology learning outcomes of class X/2 waste recycling materials, in addition it was found that students became more active in learning and increased critical thinking, innovativeness, collaboration skills and students' creative abilities, increasing responsibility and cooperation among students. The limitations of this study are that the time to complete the research is relatively short, the researchers do not know the nature and character of each student, the researchers' knowledge regarding the material being studied is still limited.
