Abstract

*ABSTRAK* Perkembangan zaman menuntut peserta didik memiliki kemampuan untuk bersaing dalam persaingan global di masa depan. Salah satu kemampuan tersebut adalah kemampuan berpikir kritis. Kemampuan berpikir kritis merupakan proses berpikir yang memiliki tujuan dan berfokus untuk menghasilkan suatu kesimpulan sehingga dapat menyelesaikan suatu masalah. Beberapa penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada mata pelajaran biologi masih berada pada kategori rendah hingga sedang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran Augmented Reality sistem respirasi (AR SINAPS) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik SMA. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari-Juli di SMA Negeri 31 Jakarta. Metode penelitian menggunakan kuasi eksperimen dengan desain pretest posttest control group. Jumlah keseluruhan sampel penelitian sebanyak 44 peserta didik yang terbagi dalam kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol yang masing-masing berjumlah 22 peserta didik dan dipilih dengan simple random sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji-t dengan taraf signifikan (α) = 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan pada rata-rata gain score kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,01 yang berarti terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran AR SINAPS terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik SMA. *ABSTRACT* The development of the times requires students to have the ability to compete in global competition in the future. One of these abilities is the ability to think critically. Critical thinking ability is a thinking process that has a purpose and focuses on producing a conclusion so that it can solve a problem. Several studies show that students' critical thinking skills in biology subjects are still in the low to moderate category. This study aims to determine the effect of using Augmented Reality learning media on the respiratory system (AR SINAPS) on the critical thinking skills of high school students. This research was conducted in January-July at SMA Negeri 31 Jakarta. The research method uses a quasi-experimental design with a pretest posttest control group design. The total number of research samples was 44 students which were divided into experimental class and control class, each of which amounted to 22 students and selected by simple random sampling. The data analysis technique used was t-test with a significant level (α) = 0.05. Based on the results of calculations on the average gain score for the experimental class and the control class, a significance value of 0.01 was obtained, which means that there is an effect of using AR SINAPS learning media on the critical thinking skills of high school students.
