Abstract

Jambu biji (Psidium guajava L.) merupakan salah satu komoditas unggulan hortikultura dengan tingkat produksi yang tergolong rendah sehingga perlu dilakukan perbanyakan secara vegetatif dengan teknik sambung pucuk. Pemberian pupuk dan zat pengatur tumbuh dapat mempengaruhi tingkat keberhasilan sambung pucuk. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh jenis pupuk yang efektif, konsentrasi IAA BAP yang optimum, serta interaksi kedua perlakuan terhadap keberhasilan sambung pucuk jambu biji. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimental dan deskriptif dengan Rancangan Acak Kelompok pola Faktorial. Hasil analisis sidik ragam menunjukkan penggunaan jenis pupuk berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertambahan diameter batang bawah, peningkatan jumlah daun, jumlah tunas, panjang tunas, dan keberhasilan sambungan hidup jambu biji. Perlakuan perendaman zat pengatur tumbuh berpengaruh nyata terhadap peningkatan jumlah daun, jumlah tunas dan panjang tunas pada sambung pucuk jambu biji. Terdapat interaksi antara penggunaan jenis pupuk dengan perendaman zat pengatur tumbuh pada parameter jumlah daun 6 dan 9 MSS, panjang tunas, dan keberhasilan sambungan hidup jambu biji. ***** Guava (Psidium guajava L.) is one of the leading horticultural commodities with a relatively low production level, so it is necessary to propagate vegetatively using shoot grafting techniques. The application of fertilizers and plant growth regulators can affect the success rate of shoot grafting. This study aims to obtain an effective type of fertilizer, optimal concentration of plant growth regulators IAA BAP, and the interaction of the two treatments on the success of guava shoot grafting. The method used is experimental and descriptive with Randomized Factorial Pattern Group. The results of the analysis of variance showed that the use of fertilizers had a significant effect on the increase in rootstock diameter, increase in the number of leaves, number of shoots, length of shoots, and the success rate grafting of guava. The immersion treatment of plant growth regulators had a significant effect on increasing the number of leaves, the number of shoots, and the length of shoots on the grafting of guava. There was an interaction between the use of the type of fertilizer and the immersion treatment of plant growth regulators on the parameters of the number of leaves at 6 and 9 MSS, length of shoots, and the success rate grafting of guava.
