Abstract

Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Dampak Dibangunnya Waduk Jatigede Terhadap Pendapatan Masyarakat Desa Paku Alam, Kecamatan Darmaraja, Kabupaten Sumedang. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh masyarakat yang terkena dampak pembangunan Waduk Jatigede di Desa Paku Alam yaitu sebanyak 81 responden dan merupakan penelitian sampel. Teknik analisis dalam penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif yang diliat dari pendapatan sebelum dan sesudah dibangunnya Waduk Jatigede. Hasil penelitian ini adalah terdapat perubahan mata pencaharian dari petani menjadi pedagang, dan pekerja paruh waktu. Hal tersebut dikarenakan hilangnya lahan pertanian dan tidak ada lagi lahan sebagai ruang aktifitas pertanian yang tersisa bagi masyarakat Desa Paku Alam untuk bertani. Hal ini, menunjukan terjadinya perubahan pendapatan yang diikuti perubahan mata pencaharian. Sebelumnya pendapatan mayoritas penduduk Desa Paku Alam sebesar Rp.1.500.000-Rp.2.000.000 berjumah 38 responden (47%). Sedangkan setelah adanya pembangunan Waduk Jatigede pendapatan mayoritas penduduk Desa Paku Alam kurang dari Rp.1.500.000 berjumlah 59 responden (73%). Perubahan pendapatan ini diikuti juga dengan mata pencaharian. Perubahan mata pencaharian yaitu 44% responden beralih menjadi pedagang kaki lima disekitar waduk 41% beralih menjadi ibu rumah tangga atau belum bekerja, 10% beralih dibidang jasa seperti supir angkot dan tukang ojek, dan 5% masih menjadi petani. Hal tersebut terdapat perbedaan pendapatan masyarakat Desa Paku Alam sebelum dan sesudah dibangunnya Waduk Jatigede. This research is to know the impact of the building of the Jatigede reservoir towards the income of Paku Alam Village, Darmaraja subdistrict, Sumedang district. The method used is a qualitative descriptive research method with a survey approach. The population in this research is the whole community affected by the development of the Jatigede Reservoir in Paku Alam village, which is 81 respondents and is a sample study. The analytical techniques in this research are descriptive which is name from the income before and after the construction of Jatigede Reservoir. The results of this research are the changes in livelihoods from farmers to traders, and part-time workers. This is due to the loss of agricultural land and no more land as a space of agricultural activities remaining for the people of Paku Alam village for farming. This indicates the change in revenue followed by changes in livelihoods. Previously, the majority income of Paku Alam villagers amounted to Rp. 1.500.000-Rp. 2.000.000, 38 respondents (47%). Meanwhile, after the construction of the Jatigede reservoir the majority of the population of Paku Alam village is less than Rp. 1.500.000, amounting to 59 respondents (73%). This change in revenue was followed by livelihoods. The change of livelihoods is 44% of respondents switched to street vendors around the 41% reservoir to be housewives or not yet worked, 10% switched to services such as Angkot drivers and Ojek, and 5% were still farmers. This is the difference in the community income of Paku Alam village before and after the building of Jatigede Reservoir.
