Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesulitan siswa dalam merancang Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) di kelas Microteaching Program Studi Pendidikan bahasa Inggris UNJ. Peneliti menggunakan metode survey sebagai metode penelitian dalam skripsi ini. Penelitian ini diadakan pada bulan Juni 2013. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan bahasa Inggris yang sedang mengambil mata kuliah Microteaching pada semester 098. Peneliti kemudian menggunakan 30 siswa sebagai sampel penelitian. Responden diminta mengisi angket dan kemudian diwawancarai. Pada komponen pernyataan goals, responden menemui kesulitan dalam memilih kata kerja yang tepat. Sebesar 46.67% (14 dari 30) responden setuju terhadap pernyataan tersebut. Tambahannya, dalam komponen tujuan pembelajaran, responden menemui kesulitan dalam menentukan hasil yang ingin dicapai oleh siswa. Presentase untuk responden yang setuju terhadap pernyataan ini adalah 40.00% (12 dari 30). Dalam komponen materi dan peralatan, responden kesulitan dalam menyesuaikan materi pembelajaran dengan tujuan pembelajaran. Ada sebesar 36.67% dari responden yang setuju terhadap pernyataan ini. Pada komponen selanjutnya, yaitu komponen kegiatan dan prosedur. Sebanyak 23.33% dari responden kesulitan dalam merancang kegiatan inti. Pada komponen alokasi waktu, responden juga menemui kesulitan dalam memperkirakan alokasi waktu dalam kegiatan akhir. Sebanyak 40.00% (12 dari 30) setuju dengan pernyataan tersebut. Pada komponen yang terakhir, responden menemui kesulitan dalam merancang kriteria penilaian. Sejumlah 46.67% (14 dari 30) responden setuju dengan pernyataan tersebut. ***** This study is aimed to find out the difficulties in designing a lesson plan in Microteaching class encountered by English Department students UNJ. The writer used survey method as the research method in this study. This study was conducted in June 2013. The population of this study was the English Department students who are taking Microteaching course in semester 098. The researcher took 30 students as the sample of the study. The respondents were asked to fill the questionnaire and interviewed. In the goals components, the respondents are difficult to select the appropriate verb in goals statement. There are 46.67% (14 of 30) of the respondents agreed toward the statement. Moreover, in the objectives components, the respondents are difficult to define the intended result for the learners. The percentages for the respondents who agreed with this statement are 40.00% (12 of 30). For the materials and equipments components, the respondents are difficult in making the learning material to be appropriate with the learning objectives. There are 36.67% of the respondents agreed toward this statement. Move to the next components, in the activities and procedures components. As much as 23.33% of the respondents are difficult in designing the main activity. In the time allocation component, the respondents also faced the difficulties in defining the time allocation in closing activity. As much as 40.00% (12 of 30) respondents agreed toward the statement. In the last components, the respondents are difficult in designing the criteria in evaluating. The number of the respondents who chose this response is 46.67% (14 of 30).
