Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media board game sebagai media untuk pembelajaran kosakata bahasa Arab siswa kelas X di SMK Garuda Jakarta. Media ini merupakan media yang diambil dari sebuah game yang sudah ada bernama “Who Is It?” dan telah dimodifikasi menjadi media board game edukatif yang berisi kartu mengenai kosakata bahasa Arab. Peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan dengan model Reisser & Mollenda dengan rumus ADDIE yang terdiri dari empat langkah, yaitu: 1) Analisis kebutuhan siswa kelas X di SMK Garuda Jakarta terhadap media yang digunakan, 2) Desain produk, 3) Tahap pengembangan produk, 4) Evaluasi produksi pada media Board Game melalui angket. Pada tahap analisis kebutuhan, dibagikan angket kepada 36 siswa kelas X di SMK Garuda Jakarta dan 32 diantaranya (88,9%) mengatakan bahwa mereka ingin menggunakan media board game dalam pembelajaran kosakata bahasa Arab. Pada tahap desain, pengembangan produk board game dengan memodifikasi kartu menggunakan kosakata bahasa Arab dengan tiga topik kosakata yaitu peralatan di rumah, hewan, dan profesi. Pada tahap pengembangan yaitu proses penilaian rancangan produk yang dilakukan dengan memberi penilaian dari ahli materi dan ahli media pembelajaran. Pada tahap evaluasi, melakukan evaluasi produk berdasarkan hasil angket yang diberikan kepada 36 siswa kelas X SMK Garuda Jakarta. Hasil penilaian ahli materi untuk media yang dihasilkan oleh peneliti memperoleh nilai sebesar (4,7) yang termasuk dalam kategori “Sangat Layak” dan hasil penilaian ahli media memperoleh nilai (4,6) yang termasuk dalam kategori “Sangat Layak”, serta hasil evaluasi dari siswa memperoleh nilai 92% yang termasuk kategori “Sangat Layak”. Dengan demikian, media board game layak untuk digunakan siswa sebagai media pembelajaran dalam mempelajari kosakata bahasa Arab. **** This study aims to develop a board game media as a medium for learning Arabic vocabulary for 10th grade students at Garuda Vocational High School Jakarta. This media is a media taken from an existing game called “Who Is It?” and has been modified into a media board game educative that contains cards about Arabic vocabulary. The researcher uses the research development method with the Reisser & Mollenda model with the ADDIE formula which consists of four steps, namely: 1) Analysis of the needs of 10th grade students at SMK Garuda Jakarta for the media used, 2) Product design, 3) Product development stage, 4) Evaluation of production on Board Game media through a questionnaire. At the needs analysis stage, distributed questionnaires to 36 grade 10th students at Garuda Vocational High School Jakarta and 32 of them (88.9%) said that they wanted to use board game media in learning Arabic vocabulary. At the design stage, the development of board game products by modifying cards using Arabic vocabulary with three vocabulary topics, namely equipment at home, animals, and professions. At the development stage, the product design assessment process is carried out by giving an assessment from material experts and learning media experts. In the evaluation stage, evaluate the product based on the results of a questionnaire given to 36 grade 10th students at Garuda Vocational High School Jakarta. The results of the material expert assessment for the media produced by the researcher obtained a value of (4.7) which was included in the "Very Decent" category and the results of the media expert assessment obtained a value (4.6) which was included in the "Very Decent" category, as well as the evaluation results of students scored 92% which was included in the "Very Decent" category. Thus, the board game media is appropriate for students to use as a learning medium in learning Arabic vocabulary.
