Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh prestasi belajar, status sosial ekonomi orang tua, dan motivasi belajar terhadap minat melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi pada siswa SMKN 13 Jakarta. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa secara parsial menunjukkan prestasi belajar tidak terdapat pengaruh signifikan terhadap minat melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi, variabel status sosial ekonomi orang tua tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap minat melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi, variabel motivasi belajar berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi. Sedangkan secara simultan menunjukkan bahwa prestasi belajar, status sosial ekonomi orang tua, dan motivasi belajar berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi. Hasil pengujian koefisien determinasi sebesar 64,1%. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa motivasi belajar memiliki peran penting dalam keputusan siswa SMK untuk melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi dibandingkan prestasi belajar dan status sosial ekonomi orang tua mereka. Kata Kunci: Prestasi Belajar, Status Sosial Ekonomi Orang Tua, Motivasi Belajar, Minat Melanjutkan Pendidikan ke Perguruan Tinggi. *** This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of learning achievement, parents' socioeconomic status, and learning motivation on the interest in continuing education to college students at SMKN 13 Jakarta. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the study, it is known that partially showing learning achievement there is no significant effect on the interest in continuing education to college, the socioeconomic status variable of the parents does not have a significant effect on the interest in continuing their education to college, the learning motivation variable has a positive and significant effect on the interest in continuing. education to college. Meanwhile, it simultaneously shows that learning achievement, parents'socioeconomic status, and learning motivation have a positive and significant effect on the interest in continuing their education to college. The result of testing the coefficient of determination is 64.1%. These results indicate that learning motivation has an important role in the decision of vocational students to continue their education to college compared to their parents' learning achievement and socioeconomic status.
