Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui sikap dan penanganan yang tepat terhadap perilaku seksual yang dialami oleh anak autis. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah sikap guru sudah positif atau belum dalam menghadapi perilaku seksual anak autis. Subjek penelitian adalah SLB Tebing Tinggi Sumatra Utara. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode survei dalam pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Variabel yang diteliti yaitu sikap guru terhadap perilaku seksual masa pubertas anak autis. Pada penelitian Survei menggunakan kuesioner yang hasilnya akan dituliskan dalam angka-angka, tabel-tabel, analisis statistik dan uraian, serta kesimpulan hasil penelitian Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa sikap guru bersikap baik dan peduli terhadap perilaku seksual masa pubertas anak autis. Hasil Penelitian Penelitian ini telah membuktikan bahwa sebagian besar guru Sekolah Luar Biasa di Tebing Tinggi Sumatera Utara bersikap cukup baik dan peduli terhadap perilaku seksual masa pubertas anak autis. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah pihak sekolah dan juga kepala lingkungan dapat diberikan sosialisasi oleh guru mengenai pemahaman dan kepedulian terhadap perilaku seksual masa pubertas anak autis di wilayah Tebing Tinggi Sumatera Utara sehingga warga sekitar sekolah dapat mencegah pelecehan seksual yang dilakukan oleh anak autis pada masa pubertas. ***** This research was conducted to determine the attitudes and appropriate handling of sexual behavior experienced by autistic children. This study also aims to determine whether the teacher's attitude is positive or not in dealing with the sexual behavior of autistic children. The subject of the study was the Tebing Tinggi Special School, North Sumatra. This research method is a survey method in a quantitative descriptive approach. The variables studied were the teacher's attitude towards sexual behavior during puberty for autistic children. In survey research using a questionnaire whose results will be written in figures, tables, statistical analysis and descriptions, and conclusions of research results Based on the results, it can be concluded that the teacher's attitude is good and cares about the sexual behavior of autistic children during puberty. Research Results This study has proven that most of the Special School teachers in Tebing Tinggi, North Sumatra, are quite good and care about sexual behavior during puberty for autistic children. The implication is that the school and also the head of the neighborhood can be given socialization by teachers regarding understanding and concern for sexual behavior during puberty for autistic children in the Tebing Tinggi area of North Sumatra so that residents around the school can prevent sexual harassment committed by autistic children during puberty.
