Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dukungan kelurga terhadap kepercayaan diri akademik (academic confidence) pada mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik regresi. Alat ukur yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah Academic Behavioral Confidance Scales (ABC) dan The Scales of Perceived Social Support (SPSS). Sampel pada penelitian ini merupakan mahasiswa aktif dan tinggal bersama keluarga. Sampel berjumlah 309 mahasiswa yang diambil menggunakan metode incidental sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara dukungan keluarga terhadap kepercayaan diri akademik (academic confidence) dimana nilai pengaruhnya sebesar 22,5%. Jika terdapat nilai dukungan keluarga meningkat maka akan memberikan pengaruh kenaikan pada kepercayaan diri akademik mahasiswa. ***** This study aims to determine the effect of family support on academic confidence in students. This study uses a quantitative approach with regression techniques. The measuring instrument used by the researcher is the Academic Behavioral Confidance Scales (ABC) and The Scales of Perceived Social Support (SPSS). The sample in this study were active students and lived with their families. A sample of 309 students was taken using the incidental sampling method. The results showed that there was a significant effect between family support on academic confidence, where the value of the effect was 22.5%. If the value of family support increases, it will have an increasing effect on students' academic confidence.
