Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kegiatan manajemen praktek kerja industri di SMK PPN Tanjungsari Sumedang yang meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, hingga evaluasi manajemen praktek kerja industri di SMK PPN Tanjungsari Sumedang jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan data yang dihasilkan berupa data deskriptif penelitian ini dilakukan di SMK PPN Tanjungsari Sumedang pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara analisis dokumen dan observasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) perencanaan manajemen praktek kerja industri dilakukan oleh Wakil Kepala Sekolah Bidang Hubungan Industri dan Pembina praktek kerja industri dengan cara (a) mempersiapkan analisa kompetensi siswa, (b) mendata industri, (c) pembentukan kelompok kerja untuk menentukan guru pembimbing praktek kerja industri siswa, (d) menyusun jurnal praktek kerja industri siswa dan (e) sosialisasi kepada wali murid dan siswa tentang biaya dan penyelenggaraan praktek kerja industri, 2) pelaksanaan praktek kerja industri dilaksanakan pada saat siswa duduk di kelas XI, sebelum berangkat praktek kerja siswa diberikan pembekalan oleh Pembina praktek kerja industri. Sedangkan jadwal siswa praktek kerja industri ditentukan oleh perusahaan, 3) evaluasi manajemen praktek kerja industri dilakukan setiap akhir tahun pelajaran dengan cara monitoring oleh guru pembimbing, melihat laporan harian siswa dalam jurnal praktek kerja industri, menilai laporan dan tugas akhir siswa. Hal ini dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi industri tempat pelaksanaan praktek kerja industri, sedangkan evaluasi kinerja siswa dilakukan sepenuhnya oleh industri dan evaluasi hasil praktek kerja industri siswa berupa laporan dilakukan pada bulan Januari pada tahun ajaran berikutnya ***** This study aims to determine the management activities of industrial work practices at SMK PPN Tanjungsari Sumedang which includes planning, implementation, and evaluation of management of industrial work practices at SMK PPN Tanjungsari Sumedang. The type of research used is qualitative research with the data generated in the form of descriptive data. SMK PPN Tanjungsari Sumedang data collection was done by interview, document analysis and observation. The results of this study are: 1) industrial work practice management planning is carried out by the Deputy Principal for Industrial Relations and industrial work practice supervisors by (a) preparing student competency analysis, (b) collecting industry data, (c) forming working groups to determine supervisors for student industrial work practices, (d) compiling student industrial work practice journals and (e) socialization to parents and students about the costs and implementation of industrial work practices, 2) the implementation of industrial work practices is carried out when students are in class XI, before leaving for practical work students are given briefing by the coach of industrial work practices. While the schedule of industrial work practice students is determined by the company, 3) the evaluation of industrial work practice management is carried out at the end of each school year by monitoring by the supervising teacher, viewing student daily reports in industrial work practice journals, evaluating student reports and final assignments. This is done to evaluate the industry where the industrial work practice is carried out, while the evaluation of student performance is carried out entirely by the industry and the evaluation of the results of the student's industrial work practice in the form of a report is carried out in January of the following academic year.
