Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidik apakah butir soal yang diujikan kepada siswa di SMKN 27 dapat dikategorikan sebagai soal tes yang sesuai. Permasalahan dari penelitian ini adalah seberapa jauh soal Ulangan Umum Bersama dan Ulangan Tengah Semester sesuai dengan kurikulum yang diterapkan di SMK tersebut. Penelitian ini dikategorikan sebagai analisis isi, karena menganalisis isi dari soal soal yang diberikan. Data dari penelitian ini didapat dari SMKN 27, yaitu lembar soal Ulangan Umum Bersama dan Ulangan Tengah Semester di semester pertama untuk kelas sepuluh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 19% dari keseluruhan soal dari Ulangan Umum Bersama dan Ulangan Tengah Semester adalah tidak sesuai dengan kompetensi dasar dan indikator yang diterapkan. Penjabaran lebih lanjutnya adalah: Untuk soal Ulangan Umum Bersama memiliki 22% soal yang tidak sesuai, sedangkan Ulangan Tengah Semester memiliki 10% soal yang tidak sesuai. Saran untuk sekolah adalah, pertama untuk pembuat soal diharapkan mengecek ulang dengan teliti seluruh soal dan suara yang diperlukan sebelum soal tersebut dipakai. Kedua, guru dapat menggunakan hasil dari penelitian ini sebagai acuan untuk soal yang akan dibuat. Terakhir, saran untuk peneliti yang akan menulis studi yang sama diharapkan untuk meneliti juga validitas dan reliabilitas dari soal soal tersebut. ***** This research is aimed to investigate whether the item tests which were tested to the students of SMKN 27 can be categorized as appropriate test. The problem of this research is to investigate the appropriateness of the test items with the basic competences and achievement indicator which are applied in the SMK. This research is called content-analysis research. The data source of this research is Ulangan Umum bersama test and Ulangan Tengah Semester test for the first grader of vocational school in the first semester. The result of this research revealed that 19% of the whole tests is inappropriate with the indicators and basic competences. For the more detailed explanation: For Ulangan Umum Bersama test, it has 22% items which are inappropriate, meanwhile Ulangan Tengah Semester has 10%. Based on the findings, some considerable suggestions have been made. Firstly, teacher should recheck the document before testing it to the students. Second, it is recommended for teachers to use the result of the findings to be a reference before making a test. The last suggestion is addressed to those researchers who are interested in conducting a research about assessment. It is recommended for them to also investigate the reliability and validity of the test. If they want to conduct a validity research, it’d better if they do a quantitative research.
