Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji hubungan pertumbuhan ekonomi dengan upah minimum di provinsi Jawa Bart, hubungan inflasi dan upah minimum di provinsi Jawa Barat, dan hubungan pertumbuhan ekonomi dan inflasi terhadap upah minimum di provinsi Jawa Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan data sekunder berdasarkan survey Badan Pusat Statistik Provinsi Jawa Barat dan peraturan pemerintah tentang kebijakan upah minimum Kabupaten/Kota di Provinsi Jawa Barat. Periode penelitian yaitu 9 tahun 2011-2019 dan sasaran penelitian adalah 7 kota di Provinsi Jawa Barat. Uji regresi data panel digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1). Pertumbuhan ekonomi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap upah minimum di Provinsi Jawa Barat dengan nilai t statistik sebesar 3,97550 dan probabilitas sebesar 0,0002 yang lebih kecil dari 0,005. (2) Inflasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap upah minimum di Provinsi Jawa Barat dengan nilai t statistik sebesar 7,18140 dan nilai probabilitas 0,0000 lebih kecil dari 0,005. (3) Pertumbuhan ekonomi dan inflasi secara bersama-sama berdampak signifikan terhadap upah minimum di Provinsi Jawa Barat. Nilai f hitung 32,27432 lebih besar dari f tabel 3,153 dan nilai probabilitas f statistik lebih rendah 0,000000 dari 0,005. Artinya dengan percepatan pertumbuhan ekonomi dan inflasi maka upah minimum provinsi akan naik. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini sesuai dengan hipotesis yaitu: (1) Terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara pertumbuhan ekonomi dengan upah minimum di Provinsi Jawa Barat. (2) Terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara inflasi dengan upah minimum di Provinsi Jawa Barat. (3) Pada saat bersama-sama terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pertumbuhan ekonomi dan inflasi terhadap upah minimum di Provinsi Jawa Barat. This study examines the relationship between economic growth and the minimum wage in West Java Province, the relationship between inflation and the minimum wage in West Java Province, and the relationship between economic growth and the minimum wage in West Java Province. In this study a quantitative approach is used. The data collection uses secondary data through the studies of the Central Bureau of Statistics of West Java Province and government regulations regarding the District/City Minimum Wage Policy of West Java Province. This research period is 9 years from 2011 to 2019, and the research objectives are 7 cities in West Java Province. Hypothesis testing is done by using panel data regression test. The results of the study show that: (1) Economic growth has a positive and significant effect on the minimum wage in West Java Province with a statistical t value of 3.97550 and a probability value of 0.0002 which is less than 0.05. (2) Inflation has a positive and significant effect on the minimum wage in West Java Province with a t value of 7.181 0 and a probability value of 0.0000 which is less than 0.05. (3) Economic growth and inflation together have a significant impact on the minimum wage in West Java Province. The calculated f value of 32.27 32 is greater than the f table of 3.153, with a lower f-statistic probability value of 0.000000. from 0.05. This means that with accelerated economic growth and inflation, the provincial minimum wage will increase. The conclusion of this study accepts the hypothesis, it is: 1) There is a positive and significant relationship between economic growth and minimum wage in West Java Province, 2) There is a positive and significant relationship between inflation and minimum wage. wages in West Java Province 3) At the same time there is a significant relationship between economic growth and minimum wage inflation in West Java Province.
