Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan model pembelajaran mata kuliah Pemrograman Berorientasi Objek berbasis blended learning lab-rotation yang layak digunakan dan efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa di FTIK UTM. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan langkah pengembangan mengadopsi dan mengkombinasikan langkah pengembangan yang sudah ada yaitu langkah pengembangan model Borg & Gall, langkah pendekatan sistem (Steps of Systems Approach Model of Educational Research and Development) dan langkah pengembangan dari model Rowntree. Produk dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah model pembelajaran mata kuliah Pemrograman Berorientasi Objek berbasis blended learning lab-rotation. Model pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dinyatakan layak digunakan dilihat dari hasil evaluasi formatif yang dilakukan melalui one to one oleh pakar atau ahli yaitu ahli materi, ahli media, ahli desain instruksional, dan ahli bahasa dengan penilaian rata-rata sebesar 4.63, melalui uji one to one oleh mahasiswa dengan penilaian rata-rata 4,54, melalui small group dengan penilaian rata-rata 4,65 dan melalui field trial dengan penilaian rata-rata 4,55. Sedangkan keefektifan model pembelajaran yang dikembangkan, dilihat dari hasil uji coba lapangan (field trial) dengan melihat adanya peningkatan nilai pre-test dan post-test yang cukup signifikan sebesar 36 point dari rata-rata 45 saat pre-test meningkat menjadi rata-rata 81 saat post-test. ABSTRACT - This study aims to produce a learning model for object-oriented programming courses based on blended learning lab rotation that is feasible to use and effective in improving student learning outcomes at FTIK UTM. The method used in this study is the research and development (R&D) method with the development step adopting and combining existing development steps, namely the Borg & Gall model development step, the system approach step (Steps of Systems Approach Model of Educational Research and Development) and the Steps of Systems Approach Model of Educational Research and Development step. development of the Rowntree model. The product of this research is a learning model for object-oriented programming courses based on blended learning lab rotation. The developed learning model was declared fit for use in terms of the results of the formative evaluation carried out through one to one by experts or experts, namely material experts, media experts, instructional design experts, and language experts with an average rating of 4.63, through a one to one test by students with an average rating of 4.54, through small groups with an average rating of 4.65 and through field trials with an average rating of 4.55. Meanwhile, the effectiveness of the learning model developed was seen from the results of field trials by observing a significant increase in pre-test and post-test scores of 36 points from an average of 45 when the pre-test increased to an average of 81 during the post-test.
