Abstract

Dampak dari kemajuan teknologi dan informasi dilihat dari segi pendidikan yaitu kepemilikan sistem informasi akademik sekolah yang dapat diakses dengan mudah. Sistem informasi akademik diupayakan dapat meningkatkan kualitas layanan pendidikan dan dapat menambah kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap kualitas sekolah. Karena, sebuah lembaga pendidikan dikatakan berhasil apabila mampu memenuhi seluruh kebutuhan pelanggan dan dapat menjadi tolak ukur penunjang layanan pendidikan dengan harapan ketiadaan redudansi data dan kemudahan dalam mengaksesnya. Melihat pentingnya wujud sarana informasi akademik, peneliti kemudian berusaha mengembangkan sistem informasi akademik yang kemudian diterapkan di Primago school depok. Dalam pengembangan sistem informasi akademik Primago school depok atau primais berbasis web ini dilakukan menggunakan metode rapid application development dengan 3 tahapan yaitu; requirement planning, design system, dan implementation. Adapun implementasi dalam pengembangan sistem primais dilakukan menggunakan bahasa pemrogrman PHP dan dilengkapi dengan framework codeigniter. Pengujian sistem primais dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode black box testing dan user accepting testing. Sistem iformasi akademik primais ini dapat menjadi solusi untuk memudahkan kegiatan pengelolaan data siswa,guru, dan sekolah. Hasil dari pengujian mendapatkan 100% respon baik melalui pengujian black box testing, serta 95% keberhasilan task secara keseluruhan melalui user acceptance testing menunjukkan bahwa user sangat setuju dengan hasil akhir sistem informasi akademik primais. ***** The impact of improvement in technology and information can be seen from an educational perspective is ownership of a school's academic information system that can be accessed easily. The academic information system seeks to improve the quality of education services and can increase public confidence in the quality of schools. Because, an educational institution is said to be successful if it’s able to complete all customer needs and can be a benchmark for supporting educationservices in the expetation that there is no data redundancy and ease of access. Seeing the importance of the mean of academic information facilities, then researcher tried to develop an academic information system which was then implemented at Primago school depok. In the development of the web-based Primago school depok or Primais as academic information system, this was carried out using the rapid application development method with 3 steps, namely; requirements planning, system design, and implementation. The implementation in the primais system development is carried out using the PHP programming language and is equipped with the codeigniter framework. Primais system testing is carried out using the black box testing method and user accepted testing. This primais academic information system can be a solution to facilitate student, teacher and school data management activities. The results of the test get 100% good response through black box testing, and 94.8% overall task success through the user acceptance test indicating that the user strongly agrees with the final results of the primais academic information system.
