Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul pembelajaran penggunaan aplikasi Optisystem pada mata kuliah Sistem Komunikasi Optik di Prodi Pendidikan Teknik Elektronika Universitas Negeri Jakarta, serta menguji kelayakan berdasarkan ahli materi, ahli media dan mahasiswa. Penlitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang sudah dimodifikasi. Modul pembelajaran ini berisi tentang materi pengenalan Optisystem, jaringan FTTH dan FTTX, serta bagaimana mendesain jaringan FTTH menggunakan Optisystem. Hasil dari penelitian dan pengembangan yaitu 1) modul pembelajaran penggunaan aplikasi Optisystem pada mata kuliah Sistem Komunikasi Optik untuk mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Teknik Elektronika UNJ yang telah dikembangkan berdasarkan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. 2) Hasil uji kelayakan oleh ahli materi memperoleh persentase penilaian sebesar 77, 85% artinya produk layak. 3) Hasil uji kelayakan oleh ahli media memperoleh persentase penilaian sebesar 89,75% artinya produk sangat layak. 4) Uji coba kepada mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Teknik Elektronika UNJ di mata kuliah Sistem Komunikasi Optik memperoleh persentase penilaian sebesar 86,15%. Berdasarkan kategori kelayakan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul pembelajaran penggunaan aplikasi Optisystem pada mata kuliah Sistem Komunikasi Optik sangat layak. ***** The research aims to develop learning modules for Optisystem Application in the Optical Communication System Course at the Electronic Engineering Education Study Program, State University of Jakarta, as well as testing the level of feasibility based on the assessment of material experts, media experts and students. This research uses Research and Development (R&D) development method with the ADDIE product development model with modification. The learning module contains Optisystem application introduction, FTTH and FTTX network, and how to design and simulate a FTTH network using Optisystem application. The result of research and development are 1) learning module for Optisystem Application in the Optical Communication System Course at the Electronics Engineering Education Study Program UNJ which has been developed based on the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE product development model. 2) The result of the feasibility test by material experts obtained an assessment percentage of 77, 85%, meaning that product was feasible. 3) The results of the feasibility test by media experts obtained an assessment percentage of 89,75%, meaning that product was very feasible. 4) field trial to students of the Electronic Engineering Education Study Program UNJ in the Optical Communication System course obtained an assessment percentage of 86,15%. Based on the feasibility category, it can be concluded that the Learning Module for Optisystem Application in the Optical Communication System Course at the Electronic Engineering Education Study Program UNJ can be categorized as very feasible to use in learning.
