Abstract

Studio merupakan bangunan yang memiliki penjalaran api yang sangat cepat. Resiko kebakaran di studio masih menjadi ancaman besar bagi setiap pemilik gedung. Diperlukan sistem proteksi kebakaran salah satunya yaitu hidran kebakaran yang dapat memadamkan dan mengontrol laju api apabila terjadi kebakaran. Perubahaan struktur dan alih fungsi pada bangunan akan mempengaruhi keandalan dari sistem hidran kebakaran yang telah terpasang. Menurut NFPA, pemilik gedung tidak boleh membuat suatu perubahan pada bangunan tanpa mempertimbangkan keandalan sistem proteksi kebakarannya. Sehingga, diperlukan pengkajian dan perhitungan ulang pada sistem hidran kebakaran apakah masih efektif digunakan sebagai sistem proteksi digedung tersebut. Sarana sistem hidran yang perlu dilakukan penilaian adalah kapasitas pompa, kapasitas reservoir ground water tank, instalasi perpipaan, penempatan dan jarak jangkauan proteksi hidran. Setelah dilakukan penilaian performa dan perhitungan kebutuhan pemadaman ditemukan beberapa sarana sistem hidran yang telah terpasang tidak sesuai standar dan tidak memenuhi kebutuhan pemadaman apabila terjadi kebakaran. Kapasitas debit aliran air tidak sesuai dengan standar NFPA 14 dan head yang tersedia di pompa tidak memenuhi kebutuhan pemadaman. Terdapat area di studio yang masih belum terlindungi oleh jangkauan proteksi hidran serta akses untuk petugas pemadam kebakaran tidak memenuhi standar SNI. Setelah dilakukan analisis kebutuhan pemadaman, sarana sistem hidran masih dapat diandalkan sebelum fase flashover terjadi. Tetapi terdapat catatan perbaikan yang diperlukan pada sarana sistem hidran tersebut supaya dapat berkerja dengan baik dan optimal apabila kebakaran terjadi. Perancangan ulang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan keandalan dan performa dari sistem hidran kebakaran untuk memproteksi gedung tersebut. *** Studio is a building that has a very fast spread of fire. The risk of fire in the studio is still a big threat for every building owner. A fire protection system is needed, one of which is a fire hydrant that can extinguish and control the rate of fire in the event of a fire. Changes in the structure and function of the building will affect the reliability of the fire hydrant system that has been installed. According to the NFPA, a building owner may not make any changes to a building without considering the reliability of its fire protection system. Thus, it is necessary to study and recalculate the fire hydrant system whether it is still effectively used as a protection system in the building. The hydrant system facilities that need to be assessed are pump capacity, ground water tank reservoir capacity and piping installation, placement and distance of the hydrant protection range. After performing a performance assessment and calculating the blackout needs, it was found that several hydrant system facilities that had been installed were not up to standard and did not meet the extinguishing needs in the event of a fire. The discharge capacity of the water flow does not comply with the NFPA 14 standard and the head available at the pump does not meet the extinguishing needs. There are areas in the studio that are still not protected by the fire hydrant's protection range and access for firefighters does not meet SNI standards. After analyzing the blackout needs, the hydrant system facilities can still be relied upon before the flashover phase occurs. However, there is a record of the necessary improvements to the hydrant system so that it can work properly and optimally if a fire occurs. The redesign was carried out to improve the reliability and performance of the fire hydrant system to protect the building
