Abstract

ABSTRAK Novitri Rajagukguk. Peranan Cosmas Batubara dalam Gerakan MahasiswaTahun 1960 -1967. Skripsi. Jakarta: Program Studi Pendidikan Sejarah, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. 2022. Skripsi ini mengkaji tentang peranan Cosmas Batubara, seorang aktivis pergerakan mahasiswa dalam gerakan mahasiswa tahun 1960-1967. Penelitian skripsi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui mengapa Cosmas Batubara terlibat dalam gerakan mahasiswa tahun 1960-1967, serta bagaimana peran Cosmas Batubara dalam gerakan mahasiswa tahun 1960-1967. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam skripsi ini adalah metode sejarah dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif naratif. Metode penelitian sejarah terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu heuristik (pengumpulan sumber), verifikasi (kritik sumber), interpretasi (penafsiran) dan historiografi (penulisan). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peran Cosmas Batubara dalam gerakan mahasiswa adalah menjadi aktivis PMKRI yang menjadi wadah penggerak Kesatuan Aksi Mahasiswa Indonesia bersama dengan teman-teman aktivisnya. KAMI yang dipimpinnya dikenal dengan dengan tuntutannya, TRITURA yang akhirnya berhasil melengserkan Presiden Soekarno dari bangku kepemimpinan dan menumbangkan Orde Lama. Dengan kehadirannya sekaligus mendorong lahirnya gerakan-gerakan mahasiswa yang lain. Thesis. Jakarta: History Education Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences, Jakarta State University. 2022. This thesis examines the role of Cosmas Batubara, a student movement activist in the 1966-1967 student movement. This thesis research aims to find out why Cosmas Batubara was involved in the student movement in 1966-1967, and how the role of Cosmas Batubara in the student movement in 196644 h -1967. The research method used in this thesis is the historical method using a descriptive narrative approach. The historical research method consists of four stages, namely heuristics (source collection), verification (source criticism), interpretation (interpretation) and historiography (writing). The results showed that the role of Cosmas Batubara in the student movement was to become a PMKRI activist who became a driving force for the Indonesian Student Action Unit together with his activist friends. KAMI led by him is known for his demands, TRITURA which finally succeeded in deposing President Soekarno from the leadership bench and overthrowing the Old Order.
