Abstract

Perkembangan zaman yang semakin maju tentu sangat berdampak pula pada perkembangan penampilan dan kecantikan, khususnya bagi perempuan yang begitu sangat memperhatikan penampilan agar tetap terlihat cantik dan menarik. Riasan mata menjadi kunci untuk tampil cantik dengan cepat karena mata menjadi fokus perhatian bagi wanita. Bulu mata yang panjang, tebal dan lentik merupakan kriteria yang dianggap cantik oleh sebagian besar wanita pada saat ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan mencari hubungan antara pengetahuan Sanitasi dan Higiene terhadap keputusan pemasangan Eyelash Extension di Sarnazbeautylash Jakarta timur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Sampel dari penelitian ini meliputi konsumen dari salon Sarnazbeautylash Jakarta Timur sebanyak 126 dan dipilih menggunakan metode Purposive Sampling. uji normalitas menyatakan bahwa data dari kedua variabel berdistribusi normal, Lalu uji yang dilakukan untuk membuktikan hipotesis, yaitu uji korelasi product moment, dimana jika hasil yang diperoleh tersebut menunjukkan thitung lebih besar ttabel artinya dapat dinyatakan bahwa kedua variabel memiliki hubungan, Nilai thitung = 14,886 lebih besar dari ttabel = 1.65723, artinya terdapatnya hubungan positif atau untuk mengetahui pengaruhnya antara pengetahuan Sanitasi dan Higiene dengan Pengambilan Keputusan Pemasangan Eyelash Extension. Dengan nilai korelasi sebesar 0,801 menunjukan korelasi yang kuat. Jadi Semakin tinggi nilai pengetahuan Sanitasi dan Higiene yang dimiliki konsumen, maka semakin baik pula pengambilan keputusan menggunakan Eyelash Extension. ***** The development of an increasingly advanced era certainly greatly impacts the development of appearance and beauty, especially for women who are very concerned about their appearance so that they still look beautiful and attractive. Eye makeup is the key to looking beautiful in instant, because eyes are the focus of attentions for women. Eyelashes that are long, thick and curled is a criteria that are considered beautiful by most women at this time. This study aims to find the correlations between Sanitation and Higiene Knowledge on the decision to install Eyelash Extension at Sarnazbeautylash, East Jakarta. The research method used is observation, documentation and interviews. The sample of this study included 126 consumers from Sarnazbeautylash salon, East Jakarta and were selected by using the Purposive Sampling method. The normality test stated the data from the two variables are normally distributed. Then the test is carried out to prove the hypothesis, namely the product moment correlation test, which the results obtained shows that t count is greater than t table, it means that it can be stated that the two variables have a relationship, tcount value = 14.886 are greater than ttable value = 1.65723, meaning there is a positive relationship or to determine the effect between Sanitation and Higiene knowledge and the Decision to Make Eyelash Extension Installation. With a correlation value of 0.801, it shows a strong correlation. So the higher the value of Sanitation and Higiene Knowledge possessed by consumers, the better the decision making to install Eyelash Extensions.
