Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui perilaku keluarga yang diwakilkan oleh kepala keluarga yang bertempat tinggal di sekitar Situ Parigi dalam mengelola sampah rumah tangga. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Unit analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh keluarga dalam wilayah jangkauan/radius 50 m pada zona buffer, yaitu sebanyak 50 kepala keluarga. Terdapat 2 RW dan 3 RT yang berbatasan langsung dengan Situ Parigi, yaitu RW 021 RT 001, RW 021 RT 003, dan RW 008 RT 002. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala keluarga memiliki tingkat perilaku baik dalam pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga. Perilaku sendiri dipengaruhi oleh faktor predisposisi yaitu pengetahuan dan sikap. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, RW 008 RT 002 memperoleh skor persentase perilaku sebesar 80.5% dan diklasifikasikan dalam tingkat perilaku pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga yang sangat baik, RW 021 RT 001 yakni sebesar 63% yang diklasifikasikan dalam tingkat perilaku pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga yang baik. Sementara, kepala keluarga RW 021 RT 003 diklasifikasikan dalam tingkat pengetahuan dalam pemilahan sampah cukup baik, karena memperoleh persentase skor sebesar 48.7%. Sehingga dapat diketahui secara keseluruhan, perolehan skor tingkat perilaku keluarga sekitar Situ Parigi dalam pemilahan sampah adalah sebesar 3.363 atau 67.3% dan jika diklasifikasikan termasuk dalam tingkat perilaku pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga yang baik. This study aims to determine the household waste management behaviour in families who reside in the perimeter of Situ Parigi, represented by the head of the family. The research method used in this study is the descriptive method. In this study, the unit of analysis is every family household in the vicinity of Situ Parigi within the 100 m radius of the buffer zone. There are 2 RW and 4 RT, namely RW 021 RT 001, RW 021 RT 003, and RW 008 RT 002, which are directly adjacent to Situ Parigi. The result indicates that most families who reside around Situ Parigi have a good level of behaviour in managing household waste. Behaviour itself is influenced by predisposing factors, namely knowledge and attitudes. Based on the data obtained, RW 008 RT 002 acquired a behavioural percentage score of 80.5% and is classified in the level of very good household waste management behaviour, RW 021 RT 001 which amounted to 63% which was classified in the level of good household waste management behaviour. Meanwhile, the head of the RW 021 RT 003 family was classified according to the level of knowledge in waste sorting which was quite good, because he obtained a score percentage of 48.7%. So that it can be seen as a whole, the score for the behaviour level of families around Situ Parigi in waste sorting is 3,363 or 67.3% and if it is classified it is included in the level of good household waste management behaviour.
