Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa bagaimana persepsi masyarakat terhadap kontribusi yang dilakukan oleh Komunitas Mat Peci dalam upaya pelestarian lingkungan hidup yang ada di wilayah Kelurahan Pengadegan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di wilayah RW 02 Kelurahan Pengadegan, Kecamatan Pancoran, Jakarta Selatan dengan waktu penelitian selama 3 bulan dari bulan September 2022 hingga November 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh masyarakat RW 02 Kelurahan Pengadegan yang berjumlah 3.491 jiwa. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang dilakukan menggunakan Teknik Simple Random Sampling dengan tingkat kesalahan 10% dan diperoleh sebanyak 36 responden. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dibagi menjadi dua, yaitu data primer dari hasil kuesioner, observasi, dan wawancara, serta data sekunder yang berisi data statistik wilayah dan data profil Komunitas Mat Peci. Teknik analisis data yang didapatkan diolah dan dimasukkan ke dalam kategori data yang dibagi atas kategori Rendah, Sedang, dan Tinggi. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa kontribusi yang dilakukan oleh Komunitas Masyarakat Peduli Ciliwung dan Lingkungan Hidup (Mat Peci) dalam upaya pelestarian lingkungan hidup di wilayah RW 02 Kelurahan Pengadegan masuk ke dalam kategori Sedang. Secara keseluruhan, sebesar 70% masyarakat RW 02 berpendapat bahwa kontribusi yang dilakukan oleh Komunitas Mat Peci masuk dalam kategori Sedang. Kontribusi yang memiliki nilai besar ialah Kontribusi Tenaga dengan nilai persentase sebesar 38%. Namun, kegiatan Komunitas Mat Peci hanya berfokus di sekitar Sungai Ciliwung saja, sehingga kontribusi yang dilakukan tidak dirasakan oleh seluruh masyarakat. This study aims to analyze how the community perceives the contribution made by the Mat Peci Community in efforts to preserve the environment in the Pengadegan Village area. This research was conducted in the RW 02 area of Pengadegan Village, Pancoran District, South Jakarta with a research time of 3 months from September 2022 to November 2022. This research used a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The population in this study was the entire community of RW 02 Pengadegan Village, totaling 3,491 people. The sampling technique was carried out using the techniqueSimple Random Sampling with an error rate of 10% and obtained by 36 respondents. Data collection in this study was divided into two, namely primary data from the results of questionnaires, observations, and interviews, as well as secondary data which contained regional statistical data and community profile data of Mat Peci. The data analysis technique obtained is processed and entered data categories which are divided into Low, Medium, and High categories. The results of this study can be seen that the contribution made by the Ciliwung and Environment Concerned Community (Mat Peci) in efforts to preserve the environment in the RW 02 Pengadegan Village area is in the Moderate category. Overall, 70% of the RW 02 community thinks that the contribution made by the Mat Peci Community is in the Moderate category. The contribution that has the greatest value is the Labor Contribution with a percentage value of 38%. However, the activities of the Mat Peci Community only focused around the Ciliwung River, so the contribution made was not felt by the whole community.
