Abstract

Penggunaan kunci manual untuk loker di zaman sekarang kurang efektif. Selain keamanannya yang mudah ditembus, terdapat pula risiko pengguna kehilangan kunci yang dapat menyebabkan pencurian barang di dalam loker. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem pengaman loker menggunakan RFID dan One Time Password (OTP) yang dikirim melalui aplikasi WhatsApp. Penelitian ini menggunakan enam tahapan metode penelitian R&D oleh Borg and Gall yaitu: Research and Information collecting, Planning, Develop Preliminary form of Product, Preliminary Field Testing, Main Product Revision, dan Main Field Testing. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sistem pengaman ganda pada loker dapat bekerja dengan baik sesuai rancangan. Kunci pintu loker dapat terbuka ketika pengguna menggunakan kartu RFID dan OTP atau pin cadangan yang sesuai, dan tidak membuka ketika salah satunya tidak sesuai. Penelitian ini telah diujikan kepada tujuh nomor WhatsApp berbeda dengan kriteria pengiriman pesan sebagai berikut: mengirim OTP, OTP yang dimasukkan tidak sesuai, OTP yang dimasukkan sesuai, pin cadangan yang dimasukkan tidak sesuai, pin cadangan yang dimasukkan sesuai, kartu RFID tidak sesuai, pembukaan loker secara paksa, dan data pengguna telah terhapus dari sistem loker. Setelah dilakukan empat kali percobaan pada setiap kriteria pengiriman pesan terhadap masing-masing nomor WhatsApp, tingkat keberhasilan pesan diterima sebesar 100% dengan waktu rata-rata 2,20 detik. Total rata-rata waktu yang dibutuhkan pengguna untuk dapat membuka sistem loker yang dirancang adalah 9,18 detik. Terdapat selisih 6,97 detik jika dibandingkan dengan loker konvensional yang dapat dibuka dalam waktu rata-rata 2,21 detik. **** The use of manual locks for lockers nowadays is less effective. In addition to its easy-to-break security, there is also the risk of the user losing the key which can cause items in the locker to be stolen. Therefore, this research is aim to designing a locker security system using RFID and One Time Password (OTP) sent via WhatsApp application. This research uses six stages of the R&D research method by Borg and Gall, that is: Research and Information collecting, Planning, Develop Preliminary form of Product, Preliminary Field Testing, Main Product Revision, and Main Field Testing. The result of the research show that the double security system for the locker can work well according to the design. The locker door lock can be opened when the user uses the appropriate RFID card and OTP or backup pin, and don't open when one of them doesn't appropriate. This research has been tested on seven different WhatsApp numbers with the following criteria for sending messages: sending OTP, incorrectly entered OTP, entered correct OTP, entered incorrect backup pin, entered correct backup pin, incorrectly input RFID card, opened locker by force, and the user data has been deleted from the locker system. After four attempts were made on each of the criteria for sending messages to each WhatsApp number, the message success rate was 100% with an average time of 2.20 seconds. The total average time needed by users to open the locker system is 9.18 seconds. There is a time difference of 6.97 seconds when compared to conventional lockers which can be opened in an average time of 2.21 seconds.
