Abstract
Ginjal memiliki fungsi penting pada tubuh yang berperan sebagai salah organ ekskresi zat yang masuk ke dalam tubuh. Organ ginjal menjadi organ yang digunakan untuk mengkaji keamanan konsumsi bahan pangan maupun obat. Pemberian ekstrak jahe merah (Zingiber officinale Roscoe), kunyit (Curcuma domestica), dan temulawak (Curcuma zanthorrhiza) sering dimanfaatkan sebagai produk konsumsi karena telah diketahui mempunyai sifat antioksidan namun analisis keamanan sebagai sumber konsumsi belum banyak dilakukan. Tujuan penelitian yaitu menganalisis pengaruh ekstrak jahe merah (Zingiber officinale Roscoe), kunyit (Curcuma domestica), temulawak (Curcuma zanthorrhiza) pada ginjal tikus putih (Rattus norvegicus). Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan desain rancangan percobaan RAL (Rancangan Acak Lengkap). Penelitian ini menggunakan lima kelompok, antara lain kelompok KK1, kontrol negatif (induksi pelarut etanol); pada kelompok perlakuan dilakukan pemberian paracetamol dengan dosis 162 mg/ 200 gr BB yang dilakukan bersamaan pemberian ekstrak dosis 500 mg/bb yang dengan kombinasi ekstrak jahe merah, kunyit, temulawak. kelompok K1, dengan perbandingan 40%:25%:35%; kelompok K2, dengan perbandingan 60%:20%:20%; kelompok K3, dengan perbandingan 45%:15%:40%; kelompok KK2, kontrol positif (induksi parasetamol). Pemberian ekstrak rimpang oral menggunakan sonde. Perlakuan dilakukan setiap hari selama 20 hari. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa kadar kreatinin serum berada pada kisaran 0,5-3,6. sedangkan kadar Blood Urea Nitrogen (BUN) berada pada kisaran 12,9-18,0 dan berat bobot ginjal berada pada kisaran 0,8-0,9. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji Anova dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa pengujian Blood Urea Nitrogen (BUN) dan berat bobot ginjal tidak memperlihatkan pengaruh sedangkan pada pengujian kreatinin serum memperlihatkan adanya pengaruh pada ginjal tikus putih. Berdasarkan pengujian kreatinin serum, kelompok K1 tidak memberikan pengaruh buruk pada ginjal. *** Kidneys have an important function in the body which acts as one of the excretory organs for substances that enter the body. The kidney is an organ that is used to assess the safety of consumption of food and medicine. Extracts of red ginger (Zingiber officinale Roscoe), turmeric (Curcuma domestica), and temulawak (Curcuma zanthorrhiza) are often used as consumption products because they are known to have antioxidant properties but safety analysis as a source of consumption has not been carried out much. The research objective was to analyze the effect of extracts of red ginger (Zingiber officinale Roscoe), turmeric (Curcuma domestica), temulawak (Curcuma zanthorrhiza) on the kidneys of white rats (Rattus norvegicus). The study used an experimental method with the RAL experimental design (completely randomized design). This study used five groups, including the KK1 group, negative control (ethanol solvent induction); In the treatment group, paracetamol was given at a dose of 162 mg/ 200 gr BB which was carried out at the same time as extract at a dose of 500 mg/BW which was a combination of extracts of red ginger, turmeric, temulawak. group K1, with a ratio of 40%:25%:35%; group K2, with a ratio of 60%:20%:20%; K3 group, with a ratio of 45%:15%:40%; KK2 group, positive control (paracetamol induction). Oral administration of rhizome extract using a sonde. The treatment was carried out every day for 20 days. The results showed that the serum creatinine level was in the range of 0.5-3.6. while blood urea nitrogen (BUN) levels were in the range of 12.9-18.0 and kidney weights were in the range of 0.8-0.9. The data obtained were analyzed using the Anova test and continued with the Duncan test. The results of the study concluded that the Blood Urea Nitrogen (BUN) test and kidney weight showed no effect, while the serum creatinine test showed an effect on the kidneys of white rats. Based on serum creatinine testing, the K1 group did not have an adverse effect on the kidneys.
