Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor – faktor penyebab waste material besi yang terjadi pada pelaksanaan proyek konstruksi Pegadaian Tower di DKI Jakarta. Penelitian ini didasarkan pada penggunan material besi dalam pelaksanaan konstruksi dapat menimbulkan waste material atau limbah konstruksi, sebagai akibat dari perencanaan maupun pada pelaksanaanya. Metodologi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini merupakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner dan wawancara mengenai faktor – faktor yang menyebabkan timbulnya waste material besi pada proyek konstruksi gedung tersebut. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode non – probability sampling dengan purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan faktor terbesar yang menjadi penyebab waste material besi adalah sisa material besi akibat pemotongan (89%), penggunaan material besi kurang sesuai dengan metode yang digunakan (84%), pemahaman gambar kerja yang kurang sesuai (76%) dan kesalahan penempatan material besi (69%). Sedangkan indikator penyebab waste material besi yang terbesar adalah dari segi pelaksanaan (73%) Kata Kunci : Waste Material, Besi, Konstruksi ********* The purpose of this study was to determine tha factors that cause waste iron material that occurs in the implementation of construction projects Pegadaian Tower in Jakarta. This study is based on the use of iron materials in the construction can cause waste material or construction waste, as a result of planning and implementation. The methodology used in this study is a quantitative approach. This study uses data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires and interviews about the factors that cause the emergence of waste iron material in the building construction project. Sampling using non-probability sampling method with purposive sampling. The results of this study showed that the biggest factor that causes waste iron material is the rest of the iron material due to cutting (89%), the use of iron material is less in accordance with the method used (84%), the understanding of work drawings that are less appropriate (76%) and the placement of iron material errors(69%). While the biggest indicator of the cause of waste iron material is in terms of implementation (73%). Keyword: Waste Material, Iron, Construction
