Abstract

INTAN PUSPITA SARI. Pengaruh Locus of Control dan Intention to Act Terhadap Responsible Environmental Behavior Siswa SMA di Bekasi. Skripsi, Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi, Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Januari 2023. Masalah lingkungan selalu menjadi topik hangat yang diperbincangkan di dunia. Hal ini disebabkan perilaku manusia yang cenderung buruk. Salah satu upaya untuk mengatasi hal tersebut adalah dengan menerapkan kesadaran dan kepedulian terhadap lingkungan kepada siswa. Siswa sebagai agen perubahan diharapkan memiliki perilaku lingkungan yang bertanggung jawab. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, maka tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh locus of control dan intention to act terhadap responsible environmental behavior siswa SMA di Bekasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 75 siswa di SMAN 18 Bekasi pada bulan Agustus - Desember 2022 dengan metode survei yang bersifat kausal dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis jalur. Hasil analisis jalur menunjukkan bahwa (1) locus of control berpengaruh langsung terhadap intention to act sebesar 0.821; (2) intention to act berpengaruh langsung terhadap responsible environmental behavior sebesar 0.994 ; (3) locus of control berpengaruh langsung terhadap responsible environmental behavior sebesar 0.977; (4) locus of control berpengaruh tidak langsung terhadap responsible environmental behavior melalui intention to act sebesar 0.816. January 2023. ******** Environmental problems have always been a hot topic discussed in the world. This is due to human behavior that tends to be bad. One effort to overcome this is to apply awareness and concern for the environment to students. Students as agents of change are expected to have responsible environmental behavior. Based on these problems,the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of locus of control and intention to act on the responsible environmental behavior of high school students in Bekasi. This research was conducted on 75 students at SMAN 18 Bekasi in August - December 2023 using a causal survey method and analyzed using path analysis. The results of the path analysis show that (1) locus of control has a direct effect on the intention to act of 0.821; (2)intention to act has a direct effect on responsible environmental behavior of 0.994, (3) locus of control has a direct effect on responsible environmental behavior of 0.977; (4) locus of control has an indirect effect on responsible environmental behavior through the intention to act of 0.816.
