Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan ecoliteracy siswa sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Majalengka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan produk modul ecoliteracy berbasis project based learning untuk meningkatkan kemampuan ecoliteracy siswa Sekolah Dasar di Kabupaten Majalengka Provinsi Jawa Barat. Metode penelitian menggunakan research and development model Dick and Carey. Dalam tahap pengembangan terdapat sepuluh tahapan yaitu analisis kebutuhan, melakukan analisis pembelajaran, mengidentifikasi karakteristik siswa di kelas, merumuskan tujuan pembelajaran, mengembangkan tes, mengembangkan strategi pembelajaran, mengembangkan dan memilih bahan untuk modul, evaluasi formatif, melakukan revisi dan melaksanakan evaluasi sumatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket terhadap tiga ahli yaitu ahli materi, ahli modul dan ahli Bahasa. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji lapangan perorangan, kelompok kecil dan kelompok besar. Modul ini memiliki karakteristik yang dirancang dengan pembelajaran berbasis masalah dimana modul memiliki petunjuk penggunaan dan kegiatan pembelajaran berfokus pada kegiatan bekerja kelompok dan bekerja mandiri ketika membuat proyek agar dapat melatih kemampuan siswa, kemampuan menginterpretasikan dan kemampuan berkolaborasi bagi siswa. Pengembangan modul ecoliteracy ini dinyatakan layak setelah melalui uji validasi ahli materi dengan skor 3.25, ahli modul dengan skor 3.1 dan ahli Bahasa 3.75. Maka dari itu modul ini bisa diterapkan dalam pembelajaran ecoliteracy. Selanjutnya modul ini di uji efektivitaskan terhadap 100 siswa yang dibagi menjadi 2 kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas control. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan angket, observasi, dan tes. Data yang didapatkan kemudian dianalisis uji beda, uji efektivitas, dan deskriptif analisis. Berdasarkan hasil uji efektivitas modul ecoliteracy ini diperoleh hasil efektivitas tinggi dengan tingkat efektivitas 79%. This research is motivated by the low eco-literacy ability of elementary school students in the Majalengka Regency. This study aims to develop project-based learning eco- literacy module products to improve the eco-literacy abilities of elementary school students in the Majalengka Regency, West Java Province. The research method uses the Dick and Carey research and development model. In the development stage, there are ten stages, namely needs analysis, conducting learning analysis, identifying student characteristics in class, formulating learning objectives, developing tests, developing learning strategies, developing and selecting materials for modules, formative evaluation, conducting revisions, and carrying out summative evaluations. The data collection technique used a questionnaire of three experts, namely material experts, module experts, and language experts. The individual field tests, small groups, and large groups were carried out. This module has the characteristics of being designed with problem-based learning where the module has instructions for use and learning activities focus on group work activities and working independently when creating projects in order to train students' abilities, interpreting abilities, and collaborating abilities for students. The development of this eco-literacy module was declared feasible after going through a material expert validation test with a score of 3.25, a module expert with a score of 3.1, and a language expert with a score of 3.75. Therefore this module can be applied to eco-literacy learning. Furthermore, the effectiveness of this module was tested on 100 students who were divided into 2 classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. Data collection was carried out by means of questionnaires, observations, and eco-literacy tests. The data obtained were then analyzed by different tests, effectiveness tests, and descriptive analyses. Based on the results of the effectiveness test of the eco-literacy module, high effectiveness results were obtained with an effective level of 79%.
