Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan model pembelajaran Sistem Basis Data menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis masalah dan seni (PBsMART), serta menilai kelayakan dan efektivitas model pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research & Development (R&D) dengan pendekatan yang dilegitimasi oleh Borg & Gall yang mengadopsi Steps of Systems Approach Model of Educational Research and Development. Produk dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah model pembelajaran Sistem Basis Data yang memanfaaatkan seni dan pembelajaran berbasis masalah menggunakan 7 langkah sebagai pendekatan pembelajarannya. Model pembelajaran ini dilengkapi dengan bahan pembelajaran berupa modul. Lingkungan belajar dirancang untuk membantu peserta didik dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran, Learning Management System dengan platform open source moodlecloud. Hasil evaluasi formatif yang melibatkan pakar dan peserta didik menunjukkan produk yang dihasilkan layak digunakan. Rerata nilai pre-test adalah 65,14 dan post-test 85,79, sehingga peningkatan rerata skor yang diperoleh adalah 20,64 . Efektivitas model pembelajaran Sistem Basis Data berbasis masalah dan seni mencapai minimal baik (70) sebesar 96,43 Hasil uji signifikansi menggunakan uji-t menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar sebelum dan sesudah penerapan model pembelajaran. Peningkatan (N-gain) hasil belajar sebesar 56% yang berarti model pembelajaran cukup efektif. Kata kunci : Pengembangan model pembelajaran, Sistem Basis Data, pembelajaran berbasis masalah dan seni (PBsMART), Researh & Development This study aims to develop a database system learning model using problem-based and art-based learning (PBSMART), as well as assess the feasibility and effectiveness of the developed learning model. The research used the Research & Development (R&D) method with an approach legitimized by Borg & Gall which adopted the Steps of Systems Approach Model of Educational Research and Development. The product of this research is a database system learning model that utilizes art and problem-based learning using 7 steps as a learning approach. This learning model is equipped with learning materials in the form of modules. The learning environment is designed to assist students in following the learning process, a Learning Management System with the MoodleCloud open source platform. The results of the formative evaluation involving experts and students show that the resulting product is suitable for use. The average score of the pre-test was 65.14 and the post-test was 85.79, so that the increase in the mean score obtained was 20.64. The effectiveness of the problem-based and art- based Database System learning model achieves a minimum good (70) of 96.43 The results of the significance test using the t-test indicate that there is a significant difference between learning outcomes before and after the application of the learning model. Increased (N-gain) learning outcomes by 56% which means the learning model is quite effective.
