Abstract
; This study aims to determine the influence of self-esteem on job search self-efficacy behavior and job search self-efficacy outcomes in fresh graduates from undergraduate university in DKI Jakarta. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with one predictor regression analysis technique. The self-esteem variable was measured by the Self-Esteem Scale instrument developed by Rosenberg (1965). The variables for job search self-efficacy behavior and job search self-efficacy outcomes were measured by the JSEE Scale from Saks (2014). The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling with a total sample of 64 respondents. The results of self-esteem regression analysis on job search self-efficacy behavior show F count 22.274 > F table (3.99) and p value = 0.001 <α (0.05) which means there is a significant influence of self-esteem on job search self-efficacy behavior. The results of the next analysis, namely self-esteem regression analysis on job search self-efficacy outcomes, showed F count 16.077 > F table (3.99) and p = 0.001 < α (0.05) which means that there is a significant influence on self-esteem on job search self-efficacy outcomes. The influence of self-esteem on job search self-efficacy behavior and job search self-efficacy outcomes shows a positive direction, meaning that if the number of self-esteem increases, it will be followed by an increase in the number of job search self-efficacy behaviors and job search self-efficacy outcomes.
