Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran cooperative learning tipe group investigation (GI) terhadap motivasi belajar muatan IPA pada peserta didik kelas IV SDN di Kelurahan Serdang, Jakarta Pusat. Adapun sampel penelitian ini adalah 58 peserta didik kelas IV SDN di Kelurahan Serdang, Jakarta Pusat. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Simpel Random Sampling. Metode yang digunakan ialah metode Eksperimen dengan desain Posttest Only Control Design. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen angket yang diuji normalitas dengan uji Liliefors dan homogenitas dengan uji Fisher sebagai uji persyaratan data. Selanjutnya dilakukan analisis hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji-t pada taraf signifikansi α=0,05, dengan hasil t_hitung lebih besar dengan t_tabel (6,212069319 > 1,671) sehingga H_0 ditolak dan H_1diterima. Maka dapar disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran cooperative learning tipe group investigation (GI) berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar IPA peserta didik kelas IV SD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran cooperative learning tipe group investigation (GI) dapat dijadikan suatu upaya dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar IPA peserta didik. Oleh karena itu, guru diperlukan untuk memilih model pembelajaran yang tepat untuk dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar IPA peserta didik. This study aims to determine the effect of the group investigation (GI) cooperative learning model on motivation to learn science content in fourth grade students at SDN in Serdang Village, Central Jakarta. The sample for this study were 58 students of class IV at SDN in Serdang Village, Central Jakarta. Sampling in this study using the Simple Random Sampling technique. The method used is the experimental method with the Posttest Only Control Design. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire instrument that was tested for normality with the Liliefors test and homogeneity with Fisher's test as a data requirement test. Then a hypothesis analysis was carried out using the t-test at a significance level of α = 0.05, with the result that t_count was greater than t_(table )(6.212069319 > 1.671) so that H_0 was rejected and H_1 was accepted. So it can be concluded that the use of the cooperative learning type of group investigation (GI) learning model has a significant effect on the motivation to learn science in class IV SD students. The results showed that the cooperative learning type group investigation (GI) learning model can be used as an effort to increase students' motivation to learn science. Therefore, teachers are needed to choose the right learning model to be able to increase students' motivation to learn science.
