Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran self-compassion pada mahasiswa psikologi di Universitas Negeri Jakarta dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan survey melalui kuesioner dalam bentuk google form. Self-compassion dalam penelitian ini diukur dengan skala Self Compassion Scale (SCS) yang mengukur 6 dimensi self-compassion yaitu Self-Kindness, Self-Judgement, Common Humanity, Isolation, Mindfulness dan Over-Identification. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa psikologi Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat self-compassion yang dimiliki oleh mahasiswa psikologi Universitas Negeri Jakarta masuk dalam kategori rendah. Namun hasil ini tidak dapat didistribusikan kepada seluruh mahasiswa psikologi Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Diperlukan penyebaran data yang lebih luas dan diperlukan teknik pengambilan data yang lebih kompleks. This research was to find out the description of self-compassion in psychology students at Jakarta State University using a quantitative descriptive research method with a survey through a questionnaire in the form of a google form. Self-compassion in this study was measured by the Self Compassion Scale (SCS) which measures 6 dimensions of self-compassion, namely Self-Kindness, Self-Judgement, Common Humanity, Isolation, Mindfulness and Over-Identification. Respondents in this study were psychology students at Jakarta State University. The results of this study indicate that the level of self-compassion possessed by psychology students at Jakarta State University is in the low category. However, these results cannot be distributed to all psychology students at Jakarta State University. Wider data dissemination is required and more complex data collection techniques are required.
