Abstract

Siti Alfiati Majid, 2022. Pengembangan Materi Ajar Teks Cerita Pendek Berbasis Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter dengan Menggunakan Media Canva pada Siswa Kelas XI SMK. Skripsi. Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia, Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengetahui kelayakan materi ajar teks cerita pendek berbasis penguatan pendidikan karakter dengan menggunakan media Canva pada siswa kelas XI SMK serta mengetahui persepsi guru dan siswa terhadap materi ajar teks cerita pendek berbasis penguatan pendidikan karakter dengan menggunakan media Canva pada siswa kelas XI SMK. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahapan yaitu Analysis (Analisis), Design (Desain), Development (Pengembangan), Implementation (Implementasi), serta Evaluation (Evaluasi). Data dikumpulkan dengan wawancara, observasi, angket analisis kebutuhan, analisis kurikulum, dan analisis materi ajar. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil yang diperoleh dari pengembangan materi ajar teks cerita pendek berbasis penguatan pendidikan karakter dengan menggunakan media Canva mendapatkan penilaian dengan kriteria sangat baik dari hasil validasi ahli materi mendapatkan rata-rata skor 4,33 dengan persentase 86,67%, validasi ahli media mendapatkan rata-rata skor 4,62 dengan persentase 92,44%, penilaian guru Bahasa Indonesia mendapatkan rata-rata skor 4,86 dengan persentase 97,22%, dan penilaian respons siswa mendapatkan rata-rata skor 4,53 dengan persentase 90,78%. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa produk materi ajar teks cerita pendek berbasis penguatan pendidikan karakter dengan menggunakan media Canva pada siswa kelas XI SMK sangat layak digunakan dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar. Development of Short Story Text Teaching Materials Based on Strengthening Character Education Using Canva Media for Class XI Vocational High School Students. Thesis. This study aims to develop and determine the feasibility of teaching materials for short story texts based on strengthening character education using Canva media for class XI Vocational High School students and to find out teacher and students perceptions of short story text teaching materials based on strengthening character education using Canva media for class XI Vocational High School students. The research method used is the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model which consists of five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data were collected by interview, observation, needs analysis questionnaire, curriculum analysis, and analysis of teaching materials. Data analysis was carried out by quantitative and qualitative analysis. The results obtained from the development of short story text teaching materials based on strengthening character education using Canva media get an assessment with very good criteria from the results of material expert validation getting an average score of 4,33 with a percentage of 86,67%, media expert validation getting an average score of 4,62 with a percentage of 92,44%, the Indonesian teacher's assessment got an average score of 4,86 with a percentage of 97,22%, and the student response assessment got an average score of 4,53 with a percentage of 90,78%. Thus, it can be concluded that the product of short story text teaching materials based on strengthening character education using Canva media for class XI Vocational High School students is very suitable for use in teaching and learning activities.
