Abstract
Physical education is a learning process through physical activity designed to improve physical fitness, develop motor skills, knowledge and behavior of healthy and active living, sportsmanship, and emotional intelligence. The purpose of physical education held in schools is to help students improve and develop movement skills (psychomotor), cognitive, spiritual, emotional, affective and knowledge of healthy living. The ADDIE model is suitable as a learning model for children and the steps in the research process are easier to understand and simpler. The development design model used is the ADDIE model, a description of the procedures and steps of development research that has been widely developed. By applying basic motions in games, children don't get bored quickly and feel motivated when learning. In response to this, a game-based basic locomotor learning model is needed for fourth grade elementary school students that is fun and can improve movement skills in everyday life. Based on all the data obtained from the results of expert validation and through several stages of validation, the researcher can draw conclusions that the game-based locomotor basic movement learning model for fourth grade elementary school students can be developed through games. Development of the model obtained as a whole and learning experts, basic motion experts, and game experts stated that the models made were suitable and feasible to use.
