Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dampak penggunaan gadget terhadap sikap peduli sosial pada peserta didik di Sekolah Dasar. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kepustakaan dengan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah model model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan gadget pada peserta didik memiliki dampak positif dan dampak negatif terhadap sikap peduli sosial peserta didik. Dampak positif nya yaitu anak membantu dan menolong orang kain, memiliki sikap sopan dan santun kepada orang lain. Sedangkan dampak negatif nya adalah menjadi individual, acuh terhadap lingkungan, dan tidak memiliki kesadaran pada peserta didik. Untuk mencegah itu semua peserta didik harus melakukan pembiasaan atau mengikuti peraturan baik di dalam rumah maupun di luar rumah dan diharapkan orang tua atau guru harus memberikan contoh yang baik kepada anak, karena anak akan meniru apa yang dilihatnya. This study aims to examine the impact of using gadgets on social care attitudes in elementary school students. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with a library study method with data analysis techniques used are the Miles and Huberman models. The results showed that the use of gadgets on students had positive and negative impacts on students' social care attitudes. The positive impact is that children help and help other people, have a polite and courteous attitude to others. While the negative impact is being individual, indifferent to the environment, and not having awareness of students. To prevent that all students must make habituation or follow the rules both inside and outside the home and it is hoped that parents or teachers must set a good example for children, because children will imitate what they see.
