Abstract

Penelitian ini menguji pengaruh dari Angka Harapan Hidup dan Pengeluaran Pemerintah terhadap IPM 19 Kabupaten/Kota di Provinsi Papua. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif melalui pendekatan korelasi (correlational research). Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data panel gabungan antara time series tahun 2015-2021 dan cross section 19 Kabupaten/Kota di Provinsi Papua dengan teknik pengumpulan data dokumen. Untuk menganalisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi berganda dengan bantuan aplikasi Econometric Views (Eviews 10). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel Angka Harapan Hidup berpengaruh positif signifikan dengan Indeks Pembangunan Manusia. Berikutnya variabel Pengeluaran Pemerintah Daerah berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Indeks Pembangunan Manusia. Secara simultan seluruh variabel berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Indeks Pembangunan Manusia di Provinsi Papua. Untuk R2 dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan variabel independen pada penelitian ini mampu menjelaskan variabel dependen sebesar 98,34% dan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. *** This study examines the effect of life expectancy and government spending on HDI in 19 districts/cities in Papua province. This research method uses descriptive quantitative research through a correlational research approach. The data used in this study is combined panel data between the 2015-2021 time series and cross sections of 19 regencies/cities in Papua Province using document data collection techniques. To analyze the data in this study using multiple regression analysis with the help of the Econometric Views application (Eviews 10). The results of this study indicate that the variable Life Expectancy has a significant positive effect on the Human Development Index. Next, the Regional Government Expenditure variable has a significant positive effect on the Human Development Index. Simultaneously all variables have a positive and significant effect on the Human Development Index in Papua Province. For R2 in this study it shows that the independent variable in this study is able to explain the dependent variable of 98.34% and the rest is influenced by other factors.
