Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk dapat mengetahui bentuk dan proses penerapan nilai toleransi pada masyarakat Kampung Luna Kota Bandung. Nilai toleransi tentunya sangat dibutuhkan dalam masyarakat untuk tetap dapat menjaga keharmonisan dalam lingkungan masyarakat. Toleransi tentunya dapat terwujud melalui sikap masyarakat yang dapat saling menghargai adanya perbedaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan studi deskriptif. Deskriptif yang merupakan salah satu teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan metode analisis untuk meneliti masyarakat. Selain itu penelitian juga mengumpulkan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Adapun jumlah narasumber dalam penelitian sebanyak tiga informan masyarakat dan lima key informan tokoh agama. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam nilai toleransi, terdapat tiga hal utama yang harus diperhatikan yaitu toleransi dengan menghargai dan menghormati, kerja sama yang dimulai dari interaksi sosial antar masyarakat, dan kesetaraan dengan mengakui hak dan kewajiban yang dimiliki setiap orang. Dalam menerapkan toleransi juga perlu adanya pembiasaan dan keinginan dari diri sendiri. Bentuk penerapan nilai toleransi dapat dilihat melalui kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat. Kegiatan tersebut melibatkan seluruh masyarakat yang notabene berbeda agama. Selanjutnya proses penerapan nilai toleransi pada masyarakat dilakukan melalui pembiasaan. Pembiasaan dilakukan dengan mengerti bahwa adanya perbedaan dan dapat saling menghormati.Proses penerapan nilai toleransi ini difokuskan kepada interaksi dan kerja sama pada masyarakat Kampung Luna. The aim of this research is to be able to know the form and process of applying the value of tolerance in the village of Luna Town Bandung. The values of tolerance are necessary in society in order to remain able to maintain harmony in the community environment. Tolerance can be realized through attitudes of people who can appreciate each other’s differences. This research uses a qualitative approach using descriptive studies. Descriptive is one of the techniques of collecting data using analytical methods to investigate society. In addition, the research also collects data through observations, interviews, and documentation studies. The number of sources in the research consisted of three public informants and five key informants of religious figures. The results of this study show that in the values of tolerance, there are three main things to be considered: tolerance with appreciation and respect, cooperation that starts from social interaction between societies, and equality with recognition of the rights and obligations that each person has. In practice, tolerance also requires cultivation and desire from oneself. The form of the application of tolerance values can be seen through the activities carried out by society. These activities involve whole societies that are notoriously different religions. The process of applying the values of tolerance to society is carried out through cultivation. The practice is done by understanding that there are differences and can respect each other.The process of applying the values of tolerance is focused on interaction and cooperation in the village community.
