Abstract

Pernikahan yang terjadi pada kelompok usia dini, berjalan dengan sebuah pemaknaan akan keterbatasan pasangan untuk melahirkan kesetaraan di dalam keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterlibatan fenomena pernikahan dini dalam mereproduksi budaya patriarki khususnya di dalam rumah tangga dan mengetahui bentuk budaya patriarki yang direproduksi dalam rumah tangga yang lahir dari pernikahan usia dini di Solear, Kabupaten Tangerang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan observasi, lalu mewawancarai empat keluarga informan terkait secara mendalam, dan dokumentasi yang dilaksanakan secara langsung. Penelitian ini dilakukan di wilayah administratif Kecamatan Solear, dengan bertumpu pada konsep patriarki Kate Millet dan keluarga menstratifikasi gender Randall Collins. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa fenomena pernikahan dini yang terdapat di wilayah Kecamatan Solear menunjukkan adanya proses reproduksi budaya patriarki melalui institusionalisasi nilai-nilai sosial patriarki di dalam keluarga, sehingga pada akhirnya melahirkan empat (marginalisasi, subordinasi, stereotip, dan beban ganda) dari lima bentuk ketidakadilan gender yang dicetuskan oleh Mansour Fakih. Namun, hasil temuan penelitian menunjukkan juga bahwa reproduksi budaya patriarki berasal dari mereka yang menikah di usia ideal. Nilai sosial yang dikonstruksikan secara patriarki menjadikan kematangan usia di pernikahan hanya mampu meminimalisir kemungkinan ketidakadilan berbasis gender di dalam keluarga. Marriage that occurs in the early age group, runs with an interpretation of the limitations of the couple to create equality in the family. This study aims to determine the involvement of the phenomenon of early marriage in reproducing patriarchal culture, especially in the household and to find out the form of patriarchal culture reproduced in households born from early marriage in Solear, Tangerang Regency. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out by observation, then interviewing four related informant families in depth, and documentation carried out directly. This research was conducted in the administrative area of Solear Subdistrict, relying on Kate Millet's concept of patriarchy and Randall Collins' gender stratified family. The results of this study indicate that the phenomenon of early marriage in the Solear Sub district area shows the process of reproducing patriarchal culture through the institutionalization of patriarchal social values in the family, thus ultimately giving birth to four (marginalization, subordination, stereotyping, and double burden) of the five forms of gender injustice initiated by Mansour Fakih. However, the research findings also show that the reproduction of patriarchal culture comes from those who marry at the ideal age. Patriarchally constructed social values make the maturity of age in marriage only able to minimize the possibility of gender-based injustice in the family.
