Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media pembelajaran kartu domino terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada materi litosfer di SMAN 3 Tangerang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif melalui pendekatan kuasi eksperimen yang pengambilan sampelnya menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling. Pertimbangan pengambilan sampel didasarkan pada nilai rata-rata PAS dan jumlah siswa yang sama. Adapun sampel yang dipilih yaitu kelas X.2 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang proses pembelajarannya mengunakan media kartu domino dan kelas X.5 sebagai kelas kontrol yang proses pembelajarannya mengunakan media PowerPoint. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini dilakukan sejak bulan Oktober 2022 sampai Mei 2023. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen mengalami peningkatan lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Pada kelas eksperimen meningkat sebesar 54%, sedangkan kelas kontrol mengalami kenaikan sebesar 45%. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian persamaan dua rata-rata (Independent Sample T-Test) diperoleh nilai Sig. (2-tailed) 0,04 < 0,05, yang berarti H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Artinya terdapat pengaruh media pembelajaran kartu domino terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada materi litosfer di SMAN 3 Tangerang. Aspek kognitif pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol tinggi pada tingkatan C1, dengan kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Hal ini dikarenakan media pembelajaran kartu domino dapat memberikan visualisasi pembelajaran yang menarik, sehingga materi mudah diingat oleh siswa. Ingatan pembelajaran siswa juga didukung oleh interaksi langsung dengan media pembelajaran, yang membuat siswa memiliki pengalaman belajar yang utuh dari hasil belajar langsung jika dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol yang hanya mengamati tulisan dan penjelasan lisan. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa penggunaan media kartu domino dapat meningkatkan daya ingat siswa berbantuan media permainan pada kartu domino. Kata Kunci: Media Pembelajaran, Kartu Domino, Hasil Belajar Kognitif, Litosfer This research aims to determine the influence of domino card learning media on students' cognitive learning outcomes in the lithosphere material at SMAN 3 Tangerang. The research uses a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental approach, and the sample is taken using purposive sampling technique. The sampling consideration is based on the average scores of the previous exam (PAS) and an equal number of students in each class. The selected samples for this study are Class X.2 as the experimental group, which uses domino cards as a learning media, and Class X.5 as the control group, which uses PowerPoint as a learning media. The research was conducted from October 2022 to May 2023. The results of the research show that the average scores of the experimental group have significantly improved compared to the control group. The experimental group's scores increased by 54%, while the control group's scores increased by 45%. Based on the results of the Independent Sample T-Test, the obtained Sig. (2-tailed) value is 0.04 which is less than 0.05, indicating that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that there is an influence of using domino card learning media on students' cognitive learning outcomes in the lithosphere topic at SMAN 3 Tangerang. The cognitive aspect in both the experimental and control groups is high at the C1 level, with the experimental group having higher scores than the control group. This is because the domino card learning media can provide engaging learning visualizations, making the material easier to remember for students. Student learning recall is also supported by direct interaction with the learning media, providing students with a comprehensive learning experience compared to the control group that merely observes written and verbal explanations. This shows that the use of domino card learning media can enhance students' memory with the support of the game-based learning approach using domino cards..
