Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengumpulan minyak jelantah di Kelurahan Harapan Jaya, Kecamatan Bekasi Utara, Kota Bekasi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Maret - Juli 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan analisis deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh rumah tangga di Kelurahan Harapan Jaya yaitu sebanyak 25.190 rumah tangga. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode Random Sampling dengan penentuan jumlah sampel menggunakan rumus slovin yaitu sebanyak 100 sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa responden yang berpartisipasi dalam pengumpulan minyak jelantah ini mayoritas adalah responden dengan kelompok usia 41-50 tahun sebanyak 35,5% atau sebanyak 27 responden, dimana sebanyak 14 responden atau sebesar 18,42% nya merupakan lulusan SMA/MA dan berjenis kelamin perempuan. Kemudian untuk bentuk partisipasi masyarakat di Kelurahan Harapan Jaya dalam pengumpulan minyak jelantah terdiri dari partisipasi yaitu partisipasi pemikiran, partisipasi tenaga, partisipasi keterampilan, dan partisipasi harta benda. Dimana partisipasi pemikiran dengan skor rata-rata 62%. Bentuk partisipasi tenaga dengan skor rata-rata 64%. Bentuk partisipasi keterampilan dengan skor rata-rata 38%. Dan untuk bentuk partisipasi harta benda didapatkan nilai rata-rata 40%. This study aims to identify community participation in collecting used cooking oil in Harapan Jaya Village, North Bekasi District, Bekasi City. This research was conducted in March - July 2023. This research used a quantitative method with descriptive analysis. The population in this study were all households in Harapan Jaya Village, namely 25,190 households. The sampling technique in this study was carried out using the Random Sampling method by determining the number of samples using the slovin formula, namely 100 samples. The results showed that the majority of respondents participating in the collection of used cooking oil were respondents in the 41-50 year age group of 35.5% or 27 respondents, of which 14 respondents or 18.42% were high school graduates and of the type female genital. Then for the form of community participation in Harapan Jaya Village in the collection of used cooking oil consists of participation, namely thought participation, labor participation, skill participation, and property participation. Where is the thought participation with an average score of 62%. The form of labor participation with an average score of 64%. Forms of skill participation with an average score of 38%. And for the form of property participation, an average value of 40% is obtained.
