Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk dapat mengetahui bagaimana pembentukan karakter percaya diri siswa melalui projek penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila di SMPN 236 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi pelaksanaan projek penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila, wawancara dilakukan kepada satu key informan yaitu wakil bidang kurikulum, dua informan guru fasilitator, satu informan guru PPKn serta enam informan siswa kelas VII. Dan juga ditambahkan dengan satu pendapat ahli dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu, reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Februari-April 2023. Hasil temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan pelaksanaan P5 dalam membentuk karakter percaya diri siswa dilakukan oleh guru fasilitator yang diawali dengan perancangan kegiatan projek meliputi; desain, modul, tema, dan sistematika penilaian. Pelaksanaan projek berlandaskan tiga tahapan, yaitu: 1) moral knowing: pembelajaran berpusat pada siswa, dan pembekalan dari guru fasilitator tentang cara menyampaikan pendapat yang baik serta tujuan pembelajaran yang akan dicapai. 2) moral feeling: pembiasaan, keteladanan, dan pemberian reward/apresiasi positif. 3) moral action: kegiatan presentasi, kolaborasi kelompok, dan selebrasi hasil karya projek. Oleh karna itu, hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa karakter percaya diri siswa dapat terbentuk melalui rangkaian kegiatan projek penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Siswa menjadi lebih percaya diri, siswa percaya pada kemampuannya, siswa memiliki rasa percaya pada temannya, siswa berpikir positif terhadap dirinya sendiri, siswa mampu menyelesaikan masalah dengan solusi yang tepat, dan siswa terlihat antusias selama proses pembelajaran. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah pelaksanaan P5 di SMPN 236 Jakarta sudah berjalan cukup efektif sehingga cukup andil dalam membentuk mental siswa untuk dapat mengasah dan melatih kemampuannya dalam tampil di depan umum. Pelaksanaan projek ini juga memberikan kesadaran kepada siswa untuk memahami minat dan bakat yang dimilikinya. Sehingga hasil pembentukan karakter menunjukkan bahwa siswa mampu menerima diri sendiri, siswa berani mengambil kesempatan, dan siswa menunjukkan kepercayaan pada kemampuannya dan kemampuan orang lain. The research aims to find out how to build students' self-confidence through a project to strengthen the Pancasila Student Profile at SMPN 236 Jakarta. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The data collection technique was carried out by observing the implementation of the project to strengthen the Pancasila Student Profile, interviews were conducted with one key informant, namely a curriculum representative, two teacher facilitator informants, one Civics teacher informant, and six grade VII student informants. And also added an expert opinion and documentation study. The data analysis techniques used in this study are reduction, presentation, and conclusion. This research was conducted in February-April 2023. The findings of this study indicate that the implementation of P5 in shaping students' self-confidence is carried out by the facilitating teacher which begins with the design of project activities including; design, modules, themes, and assessment systems. The implementation of the project is based on three stages, namely: 1) moral knowing: student-centered learning, and debriefing from the facilitating teacher on how to convey good opinions and the learning objectives to be achieved. 2) moral feeling: habituation, exemplary, and giving positive reward/appreciation. 3) moral action: presentation activities, group collaboration, and celebration of project results. Therefore, the results obtained show that the self-confident character of students can be formed through a series of project activities to strengthen the Pancasila Student Profile. Students become more confident, students believe in their abilities, students have confidence in their friends, students think positively about themselves, students can solve problems with the right solutions, and students look enthusiastic during the learning process. This study concludes that the implementation of P5 at SMPN 236 Jakarta has been running quite effectively. It has contributed enough to shaping students' mentality so that they can hone and train their abilities in appearing in public. This project's implementation also provides students with awareness to understand their interests and talents. So that the results of character formation show that students can accept themselves, students dare to take chances, and students show confidence in their abilities and the abilities of others.
