Abstract

ABSTRAK Dwi Lestari. Pilihan Rasional Masyarakat Atas Vaksinasi Covid-19 (Studi Kasus: 8 Orang di Kelurahan Harapan Mulya, Jakarta Pusat). Skripsi. Jakarta Program Studi Pendidikan Sosiologi, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, 2023. Penelitian ini memiliki tiga tujuan utama. Pertama, untuk mendesripsikan cara sosialisasi vaksinasi Covid-19 kepada masyarakat kelurahan Harapan Mulya, Jakarta Pusat. Keuda, untuk mendeskripsikan pilihan rasional terhadap vaksinasi Covid-19 pada masyarakat di kelurahan Harapan Mulya, Jakarta Pusat. Ketiga, untuk mendeskripsikan dampak keputusan vaksinasi Covid-19 bagi masyarakat di kelurahan Harapan Mulya, Jakarta Pusat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara dengan subjek penelitian yakni, 2 orang aparat pemerintah kelurahan Harapan Mulya dan 8 orang di wilayah kelurahan Harapan Mulya, Jakarta Pusat. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di wilayah kelurahan Harapan Mulya, kecamatan Kemayoran, Jakarta Pusat pada bulan Januari 2023. Dalam penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa pilihan rasional masyarakat untuk vaksinasi Covid-19 terjadi karena aktor memiliki preferensi, dimana preferensi tersebut didukung juga oleh sumber daya. Aktor dalam hal ini adalah 8 orang kelurahan Harapan Mulya, dan sumber daya adalah pengetahuan. Sumber daya tersebut merupakan modal aktor untuk melakukan vaksinasi Covid-19, sehingga pilihan masyarakat dalam melakukan vaksinasi Covid-19 merupakan hal yang rasional dipilih berdasarkan preferensinya. Kesimpulannya, beberapa responden memilih untuk divaksinasi Covid-19 dengan alasan menjaga kesehatan dan untuk kemudahan dalam beraktivitas. Masyarakat menyadari akan dampak positif dan negatif atas keputusan yang dipilihnya dalam melakukan vaksinasi Covid-19. Di samping itu, masyarakat di wilayah ini juga telah memahami pentingnya vaksinasi yang telah membantu masyarakat menjaga protokol kesehatan dan mengurangi risiko penularan virus Covid�19. Community's Rational Choice on Covid-19 Vaccination (Case Study: 8 People in Harapan Mulya Sub-District, Central Jakarta). A Thesis. Sociology Education Study Program, Faculty of Social Study, Jakarta National University, 2023. This study has three main goals. First, to describe the dissemination of Covid�19 vaccinations to the community of Harapan Mulya sub-district, Central Jakarta. Next is to describe the rational choice of Harapan Mulya community regarding Covid-19 vaccinations. And lastly is to describe the impact of choosing to be vaccinated for the people of Harapan Mulya sub-district, Central Jakarta. The study uses qualitative approach with case study method. The data obtained through observation, documentation, and interview with the research subject of 2 officials and 8 locals of Harapan Mulya sub-district, Kemayoran district, Central Jakarta. The observation was conducted around Harapan Mulya sub-district, Kemayoran district, Central Jakarta in January 2023. This study explains that the rational choice of people behind Covid-19 vaccinations is because of the actors have preferences, where these preferences were also supported by resources. The actors in this case are 8 people of Harapan Mulya sub-district, and the resources are the knowledge. The resouces became the core reason for the actors to be vaccinated, thus making the choices of being vaccinated was the rational thing to do according to the preferences. The conclusion is some respondents chose to be vaccinated with the reason of maintaining their health and to ease their daily activities. The community also aware with the positives and negatives behind their choice of being vaccinated. Moreover, the community have also came to understand the importance of vaccinations that help the community maintain health protocols and reduce the risk of Covid-19 virus transmission.
