Abstract

Sonia Gita Rinjani, Toleransi Antarumat Beragama pada Masyarakat Kampung Pulo Jakarta Barat. Skripsi. Jakarta: Program Studi Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, 2023. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi dan perilaku masyarakat Kampung Pulo terkait nilai toleransi antarumat beragama. Teknik pengumpulan data pada sumber primer diperoleh dari observasi dan wawancara, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari dokumentasi seperti foto, rekaman suara, dan berbagai dokumen terkait penelitian. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Dalam penelitian ini melibatkan 10 orang Informan, 2 orang Key Informan, dan 1 orang Expert Opinion. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini berawal dari mengumpulkan data, mereduksi, menyajikan, dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa persepsi masyarakat Kampung Pulo mengenai toleransi antarumat beragama mengarah kepada sikap terbuka akan perbedaan agama yang dianut orang lain. Hal ini terlihat dari masyarakat menerima apa yang menjadi perbedaan di lingkungannya. Selanjutnya, perilaku toleransi antarumat beragama yang dilakukan masyarakatnya terimplementasikan melalui aktivitas sehari-hari diantaranya mengucapkan selamat hari raya kepada agama lain, saling memberikan makanan saat hari raya, mengikuti kegiatan membantu agama lain saat terjadi musibah dan berpartisipasi membantu agama lain saat ada yang berhari raya. Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini adalah kondisi toleransi antarumat beragama pada masyarakat Kampung Pulo Jakarta Barat terbuka akan perbedaan agama dan menunjukan bahwa masyarakatnya telah menjadikan toleransi antarumat beragama sebagai pedom an dalam hidup bermasyarakat, hal ini terlihat tidak adanya diskriminasi yang dialami oleh masyarakat Kampung Pulo. Implikasi penelitian ini yaitu persepsi yang terbuka dan inisiatif yang tinggi terharap keberagaman agama akan mempengaruhi kehidupan sosial menjadi rukun. Selain itu, implementasi toleransi antarumat beragama akan meminimalisir terjadinya percepacahan. This study aims to determine the perceptions and behavior of the Kampung Pulo community regarding the value of inter-religious tolerance. Data collection techniques on primary sources were obtained from observation and interviews, while secondary data were obtained from documentation such as photographs, sound recordings, and various documents related to research. A qualitative approach with a descriptive method is used in this study. In this study involved 10 informants, 2 key informants, and 1 expert opinion. This research data analysis technique begins with collecting data, reducing, presenting, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the perceptions of the people of Kampung Pulo regarding inter-religious tolerance lead to an open attitude towards other people's religious differences. This can be seen from the community accepting what is the difference in their environment. Furthermore, the behavior of inter-religious tolerance carried out by the community is implemented through daily activities including wishing other religions happy holidays, giving food to each other during holidays, participating in activities to help other religions when disasters occur and participating in helping other religions when there are holidays. The conclusion of this study is that the condition of inter-religious tolerance in the people of Kampung Pulo, West Jakarta, is open to religious differences and shows that the community has made inter-religious tolerance a guideline in social life, this shows that there is no discrimination experienced by the people of Kampung Pulo. The implication of this research is an open perception and high initiative in the hope that religious diversity will influence social life to be harmonious. In addition, the implementation of inter-religious tolerance will minimize the occurrence of divisions. Keywords: Interreligious Tolerance, Pluralistic Society, Kampung Pulo West Jakarta
