Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas tentang hubungan pengembangan kapasitas (capacity building) dengan kinerja guru di SMP Negeri Kecamatan Tebet, Jakarta Selatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya hubungan antara pengembangan kapasitas (capacity building) dengan kinerja guru di SMP Negeri Kecamatan Tebet, Jakarta Selatan. Variabel yang diteliti adalah pengembangan kapasitas (capacity building) sebagai variabel bebas (variabel X) dan kinerja guru sebagai variabel terikat (variabel Y). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survey kepada guru. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data untuk menguji hipotesis adalah uji product moment, uji t, dan uji koefisien determinasi, dengan terlebih dahulu dilakukan uji prasyarat yang meliputi uji normalitas, signifikansi regresi, dan linieritas. Dari hasil hipotesis ditemukan bahwa sebesar 80,3% kinerja guru (variabel Y) dipengaruhi oleh pengembangan kapasitas (capacity building) (variabel X), sisanya sebesar 19,7% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain diluar variabel yang diteliti. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif antara pengembangan kapasitas (capacity building) dengan kinerja guru di SMP Negeri Kecamatan Tebet, Jakarta Selatan. Semakin baik kegiatan pengembangan kapasitas (capacity building), semakin baik pula kinerja guru. Kata kunci: Pengembangan Kapasitas (Capacity Building), Kinerja Guru This study discusses the relationship between capacity building and teacher performance at SMP Negeri Tebet District, South Jakarta. This study aims to determine whether or not there is a relationship between capacity building and teacher performance at State Middle School Tebet District, South Jakarta. The variables studied were capacity building as the independent variable (variable X) and teacher performance as the dependent variable (variable Y). This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method for teachers. Data collection using a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques to test the hypothesis are the product moment test, t test, and the coefficient of determination test, by first conducting prerequisite tests which include normality tests, regression significance, and linearity. From the results of the hypothesis it was found that 80.3% of teacher performance (variable Y) was influenced by capacity building (variable X), the remaining 19.7% was influenced by other factors outside the variables studied. The results of this study can be concluded that there is a positive relationship between capacity building and teacher performance at SMP Negeri Tebet District, South Jakarta. The better the capacity building activities (capacity building), the better the teacher's performance. Keywords: Capacity Building, Teacher Performance
